Boston Duck Tours is a very popular tourist attraction and will allow you to see a bulk of the city (on the street and water) in their 80 minute tour.
If you like Italian food I would recommend checking out the North End. Just make your way to Hanover Street. An abundance of wonderful restaurants and bakeries. Everyone has a favorite but mine is L'Osteria's. http://www.northendboston.com
I have heard the Boston Tea Party museum is pretty touristy but of course part of the great history of America. My last visit I liked walking around Boston Common and heard it's even better in the winter when the ice skating is going on. The North End has some great restaurants and beautiful sights to be seen.
