Can someone please tell me what hotels in Boston proper will I have the most discrete time with seeing a volume of clients?

Hi, there are some working girls in the area here. It is easy access from Boston on Mass turnpike and hotels are mostly upper class. some cheaper than others.

Burlington RT128 area is also very good and has many choices.

which means "showing prudence" .  Discrete means "constituting a separate thing"
The smaller hotels force you to walk by the front desk and then search for a single, sometimes poorly marked, elevator.   The Hyatt Regency in Cambridge allows entry from the parking garage to the elevators on the second level.  The Hyatt Regency at Downtown crossing (next to Macy's) allows entrance from the parking garage to the banquet level and then up to the rooms on another elevator.  The Buckingham in Kenmore Sq. allows direct access to the elevator without passing the lobby but it is not exactly a luxury hotel.  The Westin at Copley Sq. has a large busy lobby and is expensive.  The Boston Park Plaza has a large busy lobby with moderate pricing.  Try www.Hotels.com, search for the lowest price in Boston and pay attention to the size and distance from Boston.  Avoid airport locations and the Holiday Inn Express that says it is near the Theatre District.

Hotels.com is easily the worst hotel reservation service out there. Your credit card is charged the full amount immediately with no chance for cancellation or refund.  Orbitz.com on the other hand reserves the room at a great price and merely holds your credit card for verification- and you pay the hotel by credit or cash upon check out.

As far as discreet hotels- the Days Hotel (not the Days Inn) on Soldiers Field road in Brighton has some merit.  Sure its not in Boston proper and its barely two stars- but at $79/night (Orbitz) with plentiful free parking and direct access to Storrow Drive/Western Ave/Mass pike- it "works".  You can have two adjoining rooms for less than the cost of most downtown hotels and its a 10 minute cab ride from most points in Cambridge/Boston. Just ask to see the room(s) first because some are like new and others are beat up.

The Double Tree on Washington Street at the end of China town is
good and the pricing within reason, right on the mass pike

Well pretty soon you will be giving out stars on the forehead of all of us that may spell correctly. Get a life

Sheraton in Boston has an elevator from the garage to the guest rooms plus it is connected to the Copley Plaza, very conveinence.  Raddison in the Threater Distrinct has separate elevators to the garage and guest rooms, but both of them are around the corner of the front desk and right next to an exit.  So, someone could get in and out without passing the front desk.

Personally, I would prefer the hotels with more traffic in the lobby, so I won't draw too much attention when I walk into the lobby.

Just my 2 cents.

Just pick any large hotel and tell the gent where the elevator is. Don't you guys ask this when you enter a hotel you're not familar with? Here's another tip. Don't knock on the door when housekeeping is out in hall near the the room. I think if you do these two things and a little common sense any hotel can be discreet.
