I remember a thread here saying stay out of Woburn and Framingham, cause there was heat on the local motels. Did it mean that the small mom and pop drive-up-to-your-unit places should be avoided? Or to the big 150 unit places as well?

As for the cheapo motels that you drive up to the door, ditto. They are LE's favorite way to go, but there have been busts in 4 star hotels too. The main thing to do is to stick with well reviewed gals.
It was a few years ago Woburn LE received a grant ($50K?) to deal with prostitution, human trafficking...or whatever it was. I don't remember the details. This lasted a few weeks. Woburn is no different from other towns now. Police don't spend their time going after hookers, except as clients, unless they are paid to do so.
All police respond to calls from hotels regarding suspicious activity. There are specific hotels in Woburn to avoid, same as in other towns.
but a BNB situation would pass for what you want, though those come with their own set of issues.
In any case, I strongly suggest that names of hotels not be shared on these open boards for obvious reasons, and if people do want to suggest a hotel, it be done by PM.
with the canadian border closed because of the pandemic and flying out to LA is pretty far and expensive even though the k girl agencys are cheaper then boston and less hit and miss , I have been thinking about sticking closer to home but all this talk of LE activety is ginving me 2nd thoughts. what about in calls at agencys like bostontopten, xoclub or boston international, they all provide incall so I am wondering if lE has been bothering them. I know a couple years ago the le shut down a boston asian agency by catching a client and threatning him so he let them use his phone to text the agency and ended up shutting down the agency I dont see things like that happening in montreal and LA
