OK, you got me figured out. I'm not from Boston but I see references to Beantown often. So I will correct my usage.

I'm from the west coast and go b/w NY and Boston.

I am only surprised that someone has not taken umbrage at your "dvnyc."

Boston is a little provincial.  

I like the efforts of restocking the Boston board.  It is welcomed by at least some of us.

You need to brush up on getting your vernacular right.

Nobody with a Boston accent says "Bah-ston."  They say Boston just like anybody else does.

For the most part, the key to the Boston accent is the R.    Like "park, "car," "Harvard," etc.  There's no R in Boston and so the word doesn't change.

Don't confuse a Boston accent with the Kennedy/Brahmin thing.  Nobody on the street talks like that.
