the fact that his cell number has to be in her phone? That, plus any emails he may have sent using his Blackberry. Cops should have this guy by now, should've had him within hours. How difficult can it be to establish his identity using cell phone records? Especially in the Patriot Act zeitgeist. Come on man....catch this dude.
I haven't seen anything about emails being sent from a blackberry. My guess is he would have paid cash for a disposible cell.
You are the one that's not too bright!
in the pics of the "suspect" he shown using a blackberry or something similer in almost every photo..but i do agree to set up dates, he most likely used a prepaid phone
Never heard of a disposible Blackberry. Have you Johhnny Boy?
From the pics, he was obviously on a Blackberry or Smartphone. You can defintiely see the keyboard. Apparently they did try to trace the number but it was untraceable, so he obviously had a separate phone that was pay as you go.

Ever heard of disposable hobby phones? They are untraceable. Emails? Who says there where any? CL is what it is. You make a call and most of the time the girl tells you to come right over. I used CL for years and never had to give my full name to anyone. Most women didn't even ask me for ID.
LE WOULD have this guys real life info if any of his victims had put him through a thorough screening. Or maybe they wouldn't but none of his victims would have become victims because he would have been scared-off at the prospect of being identifiable...
Ease up on LE, they are doing everything they can but guess what? Even if they catch this guy it's not over. While the murder is tragic and the related robberies are scary the fact is a larger trend is developing. Sick bastards like the guy in question here are realizing that women working alone can be an easy target for robbery. We can blame it on the economy. We can blame it on the increasingly high profile that escorting has thanks to the internet, the media and various high profile events of the last few years. Whatever the reason it is a trend that everyone involved in the hobby is going to have to deal with in one way or another. Sadly it's not even really anything new. It's just getting more media attention than it has in the past.

My big fear is that they will catch this guy, and then in a collective sigh of relief... ladies will think they are safe.
I fully believe this is going to become more and more common. The assumption that ladies have large stashes of cash, the vulnerability working alone, the belief that we won't call the police, etc. This is without the general assumption that we are "just whores" and not people...
It's always happened and has always traumatized ladies, and too many have been hurt and/or killed (even one is too many.) This one just happened to get the news as it was in a high end neighborhood.

I know one lady who takes her cash to post office everyday. She mails it off to her pimp.
Some ladies will store the cash in another room.
One other thing you can blame it on is the fact that providers are viewed by LE as criminals. Hobbying would be a lot safer if prviders felt free to go to the police when victimized.
You are very correct. Even when they catch this lowlife, there will be copycats of course. There will be others who will attempt to hide their identity more carefully, and who will try anything that they think they can get away with.
There always seems to be "copycat" criminals.
I would be very careful for the next few months on all fronts.
Some women are very ignorant when they have told me, "Oh, I get a feel for the guy and he told me where he works." Come on!
A lot of people are good actors and can say anything over the phone or by email. Are some people really that desperate or think they know it all? That is the most ridiculous thing I've heard, and I truly hope that these lovely women are screening better now. It's one thing to be new at it and then realize what's wrong, but it's another thing to be in this business for awhile and just go by gut instincts. It's none of my business how ladies run their businesses, but I do care about them. Oh vey!
Hugs,
Ciara

Since the first event, I have wondered if the police have his plate number. It is doubtful he got a parking space on the street in Copley Place. There are only a few garages in that area, and they should be able to pinpoint the time he arrived and left the garage. A camera is smack in your face when you get a ticket and pay.
Since he paid a visit to another local provider a couple of weeks ago at her incall outside the city, he most likely has a car.
The police cannot disclose every detail as they work through a case, so maybe they know a lot more than the tell the media.
Just like the cop shows, sometimes they have to hold back information from the public so that the hunted doesn't adapt their style.
It wouldn't surprise me if LE has placed ads on CL trying to lure him in. Kind of like when they send out some notification of winnings to a bunch of people who have skipped out on court, then they busy em all at once.
They will have him soon.

I believe the have photos of him at the Copley T train station..he probaly took the train to get away quick..
Boston radio gave out a description & this may be old news but at least it is still being made public...he is blonde hair, blue eyes, and approximately 6'3. He his most likely in his late 20's. They are working on more than 100 leads right now but haven't released all of the information. They stated 3 events being linked to the same suspect...the Copley, Westin, and Warkwick R.I.
