Hi Guys,
I need your help! I need a contractor, or carpenter, for a very small job. All of the people reccommended to me and the ones I found in the phone book, either are all booked up till the late summer, or will not take a small job. feel free to back channel me. Thanks,

it may be easier to find an ATF GFE than it is to find a reliable contractor. lol

You might try www.servicemagic.com

I haven't used them yet, I contacted them about having some floors refinished but found a refinisher through a friend.

I saw this advertised in the Globe a few days ago.  Supposedly it contains independent reviews of contractors.  Of course, people may get VIP status for filing reviews, so you may have to take what you hear with a grain of salt...  LOL!  :-)
