Tried to post a review on this, but it was not accepted.  But wanted all to know that after scheduling a date with Amalie via email, confirming by phone on that morning, then driving over an hour from Boston to Warwick RI that I was stood up. Called her when I got off the directed exit, but she had no clue on directions. After driving around looking for the hotel, called her again and asked for some directions, still no clue. Continued to make about 5-6 more calls and no answer. I finally found the hotel, not at all where she said it was, and tried to call again to let her know I was there, no answer. From reviews looks like she had a tendency to be late and a bit flaky, but nothing like this.  Be forwarned.

Reviews made her sound extremely flaky, and so I'd assume this is par for the course.

So why wasn't the review accepted?

Yeah, she seems to have a history of this sort of thing judging by the posts I've seen on another board.

This is one problem with the system as it is. Since he never had the date I don't think he can write a review about it. So the only way to warn others is a post like this one.

Problem with this is if she has a habit of such actions there is no central data source for everyone to see that will warn others. There could be dozens of others this happened to but no one else knows about it.

The OP is doing the right thing by posting about it here. It would also be worth posting on the New England board as well.

The local boards all have a search function and it's always a good idea to do a search on any lady  that you are unsure of as well as pm'ing others who have seen her.

Sounds like you need to get a GPS to find a GFE.

Seems like a long drive to see such a questionable provider. Girls like this stay in business because guys allow her to treat them like crap. Sounds like a 1st come 1st served operation, with no regard for the client.

Never, but never depend on a provider to give you directions; it's just not in many of their constitution to be able to do so.

Case in point:  One evening I was picked up at the airport by a provider in her home city, only to spend the next hour meandering around every part of the city because she got confused.  This was her home city where she has lived for umpteen years!

Here's what you do instead:  Get the name of the hotel, and then look up its address and directions on Mapquest or similar service on line.

I have to guess that the reason you didn't hear from her when you finally got to the hotel is that it was too late and she had someone else booked right after your appointment.

Unfortunately I lived in/around Boston for 40 years and I still have to drive around for 30 minutes trying to find my way out from Logan to other places in town (getting out of town is easy)....

I know, it's sad!

At least in Boston you can drive around and eventually find what you are looking for (small city). Here in NC you could drive for hours before you realize your going the wrong way!

not quite just ran into complications you all are so quick to judge and assume. I don't think u can call me flaky. yeah this has happened once or twice (to with such a far drive) but like i told him i an e-mail shit happens my b, an mind u i do have reviews of people driving pretty far and i kept my appt

Plug the M & G in your GPS and practice the route, so you are not too late.

I have seen her and she was nice but needs to learn about customer service.  
You may think she is flaky but it is she is very young and immature...

That is not an excuse. She could be great if she learns some lessons and opens her services up more.

She would be great, I have not seen her again, I would like to but there are many other providers who give much better service and customer service...
