I think its especially obnoxious when it comes from a brown female.

BUT anything that prevents anyone from being disappointed in the treatment they receive or enduring standing on the other side of peephole listening to an unanswered phone ring is a "good" thing.

Some women are more evolved than others and capable of making love to gentleman of any color.

Some women are limited by irrational generalizations, prejudices and self-hatred.

But sometimes it is just a matter of physical preference and attraction...and we're all allowed to play this game however we'd like.

I don't have any thoughts about men or women who aren't sexually attracted to people of color....

Because there are just so many who are.
Who has time to be bothered with those who aren't interested in our physical type?  Like, really?

Don't fret about it A-non-a-moose : ).

I understand we all make personal choices in life.  Mine might be I don't have sex with bigots.  But you make those decisions personally.

Does anyone else have an issue with a pronouncement on a current TER ad that reads: "Due To Personal Preference, No African American Men Please"?

I couldn't be more offended.

The problem with "blanket pronouncements" like this is that they seldom hold true.  Would someone who doesn't date black men turn down a date with Vin Diesel?  He's technically black.  Would you kick Derek Jeter or Lenny Kravitz out of bed?  I am not particularly attracted to women of color, but I wouldn't pass up a date with Halle Berry or Beyonce.  I know people are going to say it's better for her to be honest up front, but I can't agree.  Sorry.  And she is really hot looking.  Too bad.

I understand.  I am also glad it was aired out, and I respect your views from that side of the equation.  It's worse to have these sorts of currents under the radar, and not discussed.

Onward to hobbying I go.

Lol I'm just playing with you- but my thoughts aren't representative of all brown people.

I think its an "issue" that has been touched upon so many times, too many times- and its impossible to be resolved.

You'll always have females who claim that they won't see black men because of a lack of sexual attraction or fear...but whatever.

Most of my clientele is Caucasian, followed closely by East Indian...and though I see few  black American and Latin clients, the ones who choose me are *consummate professional gentlemen*.

The clientele you attract and receive have everything to do with how you word your advertisements, your price point etc.  I have yet to have an "undesirable" or "thug" approach me (which is the most often cited reason for not seeing men of color)...but my advertisements are also literate and no-nonsense...and most of my girlfriends experience the same.
Water rises to its own level- you attract what you are.
If a girl has to state color preferences in order to avoid undesirable clients, maybe she should upgrade her advertisements or what she's putting into the atmosphere.

Hugs  A-non-a-moose..and thanks for the pics.
Yum!

Interesting.  In fact, if there really is a sincere aversion to "types" ("I won't fuck redheads," etc.) then for a provider one way to handle it is to ask in the screening.  That would provide an option for a provider because as you say, we all have a right to fuck whom we want.   On the other hand, if it's code for "no thug types" or bigotry that people of a certain physical type are more "this or that" than others, I must recall the words of the late, great Lenny Bruce:

“You are a white. The Imperial Wizard. Now, if you don't think this is logic you can burn me on the fiery cross. This is the logic: You have the choice of spending fifteen years married to a woman, a black woman or a white woman. Fifteen years kissing and hugging and sleeping real close on hot nights. With a black, black woman or a white, white woman. The white woman is Kate Smith. And the black woman is Lena Horne. So you're not concerned with black or white anymore, are you? You are concerned with how cute or how pretty. Then let's really get basic and persecute ugly people!” ― Lenny Bruce

You made a salient point. The price point and clientele that a provider targets is more important than the distribution of race among that clientele. One suggestion is that potential clients of the provider pay attention to how she writes and the clarity of her prose. She may have gotten some else to write her ad, but I have seldom seen a hick that understood good writing.

I mean between that and the shirtless shots of him in Hawaii he is a hunky leader! It's never color of skin and trust me my skin is so white I'm almost translucent, lol. It's all about chemistry and having a good time. I'm sure that there are plenty of other ladies who will be happy to meet with you. The laws of attraction are funny even in this biz. Some people simply are not attracted to certain things and it is better to exclude them. Whether it be smokers, certain body types, etc. Perhaps this may be seen as bigotry if it is skin color or being overly picky if it is other reasons. It's in your best interest to see someone who is equally interested in seeing you and shares your enthusiasm about meeting. It's about more than just getting paid it's about hopefully continuing to make good connections with people whom you will enjoy again.

She's allowed to have them, and only a racist will take exception to it.
Get a life, get over it, mind your own business.

And you think it makes sense to post those preferences on a provider page: "No Blacks need apply?" or however it was put?   OK, so it's a public service by airing the provider's preferences.  That's what you are saying.  Would you feel the same if someone posted "No Jews" or "No Italians"?  What could possibly be the difference?  Some people don't want to fuck short people.  That's their right.  Can't it just be handled in the screening process if one feels that way?  I'm just saying.

Please stop making something out of nothing. She has her preference and RIGHTS OF FREE SPEECH just as you and the rest of us do. What offense is there to be taken. Are you supposed to be WANTED by all white woman. Come on we all have ears eyes, noses, feet, hands, hair, etc. She wants what she wants and you want what you want.

Your posting this on this forum discussing how you are offended offends me. I find anyone that takes offense about something offensive. She is not aiming it right at you, just making a preference statement, so stop offending me with this posting.

Tony

Back in my earlier years I did not see African American men either due to more then one bad experience nevertheless myself being mixed I realized I was judging and this made no sense on what color they were. obviously my screening technique was the problem at hand.

Sooo now!!!

I see absolutely every color there is!!!

I see something wrong with it.  Is this how far we've come in this country.  It's like stating no blacks allowed to use a water fountain or swim in a pool.  Please.

look this is not a water fountain or a swimming  pool.

Its about who you want to be intimate with.

It is not one bit even close to in the same ball park.

the comfort level of ONE is not to be judged by another.

Its absolute crap that anyone judges another womens choices in this way
Its clearly NOT any one elses business who she chooses to be intimate with and why OR why not.

Well Said !!!!   BRAVO.

A-non-a-moose1399 reads

I think you're missing the point.  It's the "Blacks need not apply" message in her ad.

she can see who ever she  wants be attracted to who ever she wants.

Its none of your business  what her choices are and you have no place judging her.
Its not about youby the way its about HER choices.

END OF STORY!

I would not be comfortable with a provider that does not see any upscale, civilized gentleman. I am more concerned about whether she see men in my education level and social class than I am about the races of the men that she sees.

but the key is to see the upside of everything! i'm one to see the glass half full, so in this situation. Less for her, and more for me! :D

if someone wants to limit who they see for what ever their reason, thats  their right to do so. Just as you choose who to see. Noone dictates who you have to see. The equal oppertunity situation has no place here.

This is a business like no other.
We share a part of ourselves that in no other profession is so.
The rules of engagement are very different and can NOT be compared to another.

Having the fee to pay for her time and the ability dial a phone number is not the only qualifications required to come play.

I can never understand why so many
cant see what preferences are all about, and that in this business preferences play a heavy role.

You dont have to like it or agree with it but either way its just the way it is.

My advice, move on theres a hotter chick who will see you out there, keep looking.

I hate when I see that advertised.  It shows lack of class and education.
