I picked up the phone prepared to send a short message indicating that I was not available for the evening.
I glanced at the unfamiliar name accompanied by a “Hello Ally” and responded. The screen name identified himself as an old friend and asked me if I remembered him from Atlanta.
I said no while attempting to jog my memory. He quickly indicated that he was using a new handle and gave a brief description of himself, which did not help my recollection.
