I am the guy who posted the review of Ally. It does seem as though there was a mix-up. Ally called me about it and it did seem like a very different person. Seems somebody else was picking up her calls and made an appointment. Looking at the pictures on her website and listening to her I would buy that it was a mistake. Certainly to look at her other great reviews, it certainly seems like somebody else. So, long story short I would give her the benefit of the doubt and trust her many other great reviews. P.S. I had a nice talk with her and she sounds very sweet- and not crazed. I've been in this hobby for many years and posted many reviews so I have always tried to be honest and call em as I saw em, but I think this one probably was a mix-up.
The way I understand it, if he posts a new review, it replaces the old review. Get him to correct it or contact TER. If it's an inaccurate review, I'm sure that TER doesn't want it!
i have to differ. i saw ally about a year ago. (Her street address was #3 just to prove that i did see her.) i agree with the earlier review. she is a very sweet and good person but i don't recommend her for the same reasons. not to bash but ymmv definitely with her. to give a fair picture the negatives should be allowed to stay.
just accept that you're not everyone's cup of tea without these attempts to discount non-positive reviews with disclaimers and stories about deadbeats. if you did have a client who tried to talk you down it wasn't me. i posted because the other review sounded like the experience i had so i wanted to let guys know that ymmv.
you are a sweet kid with a good heart but please spare the mumbo jumbo about liking myself more, etc. the boards are for us to share information, positive and negative. i went to see you based on a review and i was misled. simple as that. (but i'm sure you'll complicate it.)

I don't get it. Someone else was answering her phone and you didn't bother to check out her pics on her website so you didn't notice that there had been a bait and switch, apparently. Forgive me for saying so, but it sounds very fishy to me. It just doesn't add up! Besides, the loony, rambling response she posted above tends to corroborate your original statements. Is her real name Syble? I will continue to maintain my distance from this provider.
Wow, am I confused. Someone else took the appointment and showed up instead? Then she called you to straighten it all out? I feel a lot better now. I am new to this hobby, perhaps I should stick with model trains.
If someone else was answering your phone, as BRITE1 is saying below, then it wasn't a silly typo, was it? Who was answering your phone and taking your calls? How do we avoid this provider if we call your #? Please explain, I'm confused.
I cannot believe this whole thread of messages went on. From my perspective, Ally is awesome, honest, and a great provider. However, she isn't going to be everyone's "cup of tea". To end this story, all one has to do is read her reviews. The last 10 or so have been nothing but 7-10 in looks and performance. Enough said.
