I am new to the hobby and am thinking to take a local agent service. the thing is that i have to fill out a verification form which it requires to state my real name, address, phone and employment. What should I do? Do you leave all your personal info to the agent?
Not sure what you are doing exactly. Who/what is this verification "agent" and why must it be "local"? Many of us started the hobby by signing up with a large verification service such as DateCheck or Preferred 411.
In my case, I gave them the information that they required (name, employer, phone number,...). That was years ago and nothing bad happened.
Imagine the reverse: some guy whom you never met wants you to vouch for him with a girl you know. Wouldn't you require some amount of real information?
