A sad day indeed

He is in a much better place now.

He will be missed by all his friends, but as long as we keep him in our thoughts
he will never be that far away.

Rest in peace.

That you wish to see someone so much.
Desire to feel that person near overwhelms you.
Just to even hear their voice begins a deep craving.
It becomes agony.
Your heart races and you cannot think of anything else.
The grief sets in, I am blinded by tears.
Selfishness explains this thing called grief.
I cannot have what I want.
You.

Rest in peace my love.
"I do have a love for you."

It is with deep sorrow for me to mention I have lost today a great man.
We all have.

Many of you who know me, know who I am talking about.

Yes, all of us that knew him know that we have lost a great friend. We need to take comfort knowing that he is in a better place now and is indeed at peace and without pain .... finally.

He will indeed be missed.

He disappeared in the dead of winter:
The brooks were frozen, the airports almost deserted,
And snow disfigured the public statues;
The mercury sank in the mouth of the dying day.
What instruments we have agree
The day of his death was a dark cold day.

from W. H. Auden, 'In Memory of W. B. Yeats'

He was a great man and a wonderful friend.   He was always there to help when someone needed it.  He had the silliest sense of humor.  He knew how to bake a delicious pumpkin pie.

He will be missed so very much by everyone who knew him.  It's hard to think that he is gone.

May he rest in peace.

I will miss seeing him at our gatherings around the state.

I will miss his jokes and friendship.

All who knew him are better for that time.

May he rest in peace!
