For his birthday, little Patrick asked his parents for a new 10 speed bike.  His dad put his arm around little Patricks shoulder and witha tear in his eye said, "son, I'd love to get that for you.  But, well, the mortgage on the house is $80,000.  and your mom just got laid off...and ...well, we just can't afford the bike right now."
    The next day, dad is sitting at the breakfast table when little Patrick walks by him, heading for the door with a suitcase dragging along behind him.  The parents jump up from the table and say, "son, where are you going?"  Little Patrick replys, "well, it's like this pop.  Last night on my way to the bathroom, I walked by your door and heard you tell mom you were pulling out.  And then I heard mom say to hold on, cuz she's gonna come too.   And dammit, theres no way in hell I'm gonna be stuck here alone, with an $80,000. mortgage, and no fuckin bike!
