How to your perceive the ratings on a review if the review itself was fantastic? I just got a wonderful review, he wrote many good things about our time togther , yet the ratings do not match what he wrote..

What matters more to you the ratings or what is written?

Your thoughts please

Thanks guys

Good topic!

There appears to be a lot of inconsistency on reviews based on the numbers alone, so I usually look at what is written regardless of what the numbers show.

I think each person has a different concept of what each number on the review chart actually means, even though TER has tried to set some guidelines.  The numbers don't reflect a reviewers background, perception, and/or personal experience.  For example, a person who has had limited sexual experience might be completely dazzled by an experience that others who are more experienced see as an average performance.  Others might become too accustomed to certain experiences during appointments and become overly-critical.

The same applies to appearance, mostly because what attracts people to each other is so subjective.  My 9 given for looks might be (and has been)a 7 to someone else.

So, I personally ignore the numbers and read the text.

Why How could that happen?

The sad truth is that in order to get a review posted, what is said must be approved....
.....the man behind the curtain decides what ultimately gets put into a review, we are just the writers.

I personally don't write reviews because every time I have tried, it is rejected over and over until I just give up.

The ratings are not accurate in the looks department many times.

I have seen reviews where a 9 is given for performance and the provider gave a covered bj. She also diddn't gice kisses with tongut. That hardly qualifies a GFE in my book and certainly is not a 9 for service. So most times iI don't choose by the numbers alone.

I often use the numbers to filter out the extreme highs or lows. Then I read the rest of the bell curve reviews for the written accounts.

They really don't mean much to me in either category. To me, appearance goes far beyond a woman's physical beauty. The way she carries herself, her confidence, all of the things that you can't put in a picture make up a lot of the ladies appearance. As far as performance goes, I feel the same way. I have had dates with ladies with whom I had limited activities, yet by rules, I could give her a 10 simply because he offers other activities that we didn't do. On the other side of the coin, I have had scores reduced when I had a wonderful time with a lady, but the activities list was not as long.

I mostly rely on what is written in the body of the review...and by a lady's board presence. I love the electronic flirting, and it has served me very well, so far.

..... mention you NEVER look at the pictures.  lol!!

Seriously, I feel the number is important but the source of the number; i.e. the quality of the review and the reviewer are inportant factors.  A great or poor review from an unknown is very UNimportant

Just like in the Olympics. I tend to ignore the high and low scores and focus more on the average. Ultimately I go by what is written.

I tend to weight the numbers AFTER I have tried to see if the reviewer has rated or seen some of the same providers I have seen. It is not uncommon for a reviewer to give an appearance rating and performance review in the 8-9 range that I would rate at 6-7. All is subjective. Even if I have a really good time with a provider, unless something was truly special and exceptional, I don't give out 8's or 9's. If "once in a life time" happens all the time, well, then, it wouldn't be "once in a life time".

What is written because I prefer certain things from a provider.  If I read that it is not provided I look elsewhere, regardless of the numeric value given to your performance.

It gives me more detail of what is offered and allows me to make my desissions based on what I might be looking for. I'll give you 10's for some free time together LOL Just kidding don't slam me. LOL

It's his first and only review. He raves about the provider, nothing even approaching a negative word, then gives her the lowest performance grade she's ever received.

It doesn't make any sense, and any provider who cares about her reviews should ask a question or two.

The numbers don't really mean that much to me especially the "appearance" number. Everything is subjective.  I would much rather read a good review, or series of reviews, about a gal than scan down the page looking for all 8's, 9's or 10's.

I don't know this for a fact, but I suspect that a substantial majority of TER members DO NOT have VIP status and therefore cannot read the entire review contents to make a fully informed decision about a provider. These members have no choice but to rely on the rating numbers.  To the extent that rating numbers don't reflect the actual reviews, these members will be misled.  For them, I would suggest averaging the numbers before jumping the gun.

I don't pay much heed to the review numbers.  I look for consistant numbers with a plus or minus one "normal" variation.  Extreme high & low swings seems to me a mood thing or subject to chemistry...  but that said, I'll look at the actual review to see why it is that way.  Sometimes I think the number was a mistake, does not correspond to the review.  If that it the case, perhaps the reviewer could get it corrected?

I mark all ladies in my area code &/or location description to my TER favorites...  eventually it saves time as new reviews are posted.  I check out all the reviews & links to decide if I'm really interested.  I do make allowances for one bad review if I see they did not hit it off or might not have been a good match.  I mark my impression in the text box at the top.
Bucket List, Maybe, Hold pending more reviews, NO.
