May I suggest bringing a drop cloth, extra large trash bag and kiddie pool?  They aren't that heavy, and don't take up a lot of space.  You play, you empty the liquid in the tub, you roll up everything and stuff into the trash bag.  You then tie it off for easy clean up for the maid or take it out with you.  Or simply use the tub.
