BDSM

choosing a provider

Now that there are so many hybrid GFE/BDSM providers, I'm wondering what affects a client's decision to see a BDSM only provider? Equipment, wardrobe, specific fetish, personality?

For me, it probably comes down to equipment or atmosphere- a dungeon-like incall ambience vs. a hotel room; and specific fetish requests that can be discussed when arranging to session.

When I hope to mix in more intimate body worship & some reciprocation play, I look for a provider who combines both.

For hybrid providers, do you have a preference- keeping your services separate?

BDSM encompasses so many aspects that only providers that really have a true ideal about it know how to properly separate it. The "BDSM" itch has gotten popular over the past 2 years or so. Now it has gone full throttle, most providers offer everything thinking it will help them, but in actuality they have some furry cuffs, rope and a Burt plug for their BDSM/kink session.

I am a true submissive who also offers GFE. I used to just advertise as purely BDSM but I figured there are more clients into GFE with that hint of BDSM/kink added to the session. So on my website I combine the two, however I have access to a real dungeon and I have real equipment( the kind that leaves marks).

For me, I prefer to keep my services blended when appropriate. I think of myself as a fetish provider first who does not shun the intimacy and sensuality of kink.

I have noticed that the majority prefer a combo of interests that are not your typical Domina.  I prefer to keep all doors open.  When I used to advertise as a strictly BDSM provider you loose a lot of clients that are interested in more sensual activities.  I hate to limit myself, or my new friends.

I'm a blended BDSM & GFE provider and I genuinely enjoy sessions with both rather than just strictly BDSM. I find it to be more satisfying to approach from a holistic sense, a lot more room for creativity and *real* cerebral intimacy and power exchange. Unfortunately, its very difficult to find legit dungeon spaces okay with GFE as well, and for most providers (including myself) starting one is just not a possibility due to time, money, and risk. I certainly wish there were more, especially when touring. I always end up having to bring a huge suitcase dedicated only to gear, and damn is leather heavy!

I offer KGFE (The KINKY Girlfriend Experience), strict BDSM and sensual BDSM.  While I have separate sites for BDSM & escorting, I make it clear that one only gets what they request.  I don't attempt to dominate gents who book an escort appt, and I don't give the girlfriend experience to subs who book me for strict BDSM.  The sessions I enjoy most are the sensual BDSM ones, because I get to merge my most popular skill sets in wonderfully exciting ways.  It's the best of both worlds.

I offer almost everything, but feel TER fellas are mainly vanilla players & will shy away from a BDSM provider.  I do not have a dungeon, but I am fully equipped.  Most dungeons do not support the fetishes I do offer they're considered taboo.  In the real World most Mistresses live a normal life & do have boyfriends, husbands, etc., so the traditional, or old school Domina is almost a thing of the past.  If you look up the definitions of BDSM vocabulary a Domme is still considered a sex worker regardless if it is on the menu, or not.

What you're saying in regards to authenticity makes sense to me Braelyn. Though, what others have pointed out about access also resonates with me. To answer Hedonist's question, a time or two I have considered also offering my submissive services sans a GFE element, but a fusion is what I find to be most pleasing and true to the desires that arise for me during a kinky encounter.

And while I would love to have ongoing access to all the gear that can be found in a fully equipped dungeon, it's just not feasible for me. Neither in the city where I live and especially not during the several times out of the year that I'm touring other cities.

So I'll admit that I'm totally that person that packs approximately a dozen plus light to moderate intensity implements. And this is somewhat informed by practical logistical concerns. But I've also found that I've developed a low-key fixation for DIY, not-explicitly-made-for-BDSM objects that are used with the utmost perversity. Breast and nipple play is a favorite of mine. Someday, I'd love to own a breast and pussy torture chair valued at 300-400. At the same time, experiencing the pain that was inflicted to my nipples by someone strategically putting to use a homemade  contraption made with bamboo skewers hurt just as good. ;)

I have separate websites for each of my "personas", but I advertise them together.  I am a true submissive and "people pleaser".  My pleasure truly comes from providing pleasure to others, whether that entails serving as their submissive, being totally GFE or an all out PSE.

I travel with many toys, but lately have scaled back a bit on weight (limited to 2 checked bags under 50 pounds) and on some of the really hardcore BDSM toys as I find that only a rare few that book such sessions with me know how to properly use them.  I bring a variety of paddles, floggers, plugs, vibrators, etc.  Plenty to have lots of fun.

At home I have an incall that is mostly decked out for sensual pleasures, but have a massage table, spanking bench and boxes of toys and equipment that can be taken out as needed.  I do have access to a few full dungeons if required.
