I'd suggest that you go onto FetLife and scroll down to the bottom of the page.  Under Advertising, click Our Advertisers, and you'll see a huge list of various companies that sell clothing and equipment.  Usually, the banner ad gives you a pretty good sense of their wares.  While I can't vouch for all of them, most of them are absolutely amazing and deserve your support.

Since you are in L.A., consider visiting 665 Leather if you want men's stuff.  And make sure that you attend Threshold's upcoming Bizarre Bazaar.

The reality is that you'll probably want to take a trip up to San Francisco, as many of the best men's and women's vendors have stores there.
