Is this for real or just a Fad ? Anyone with real life experience ?  

I've owned several neon/violet wands over the years, different forms of shock equipment and electrodes as well as tens units. I currently own and regularly use electro-play gear, and its a blast! You're truly only limited by imagination.

So I took a gamble and bought one with an anal probe on Amazon for $60. Only used it once but so far it is unbelievable.
A 9 + TER provider who lives in another state got me started on prostrate play. I have had dates with 20+ other prostrate expert providers who never came close to the one out of state.  This device comes very close to intensity of the out of state provider.      

I have a neon wand that I use regularly. The sensations range from subtle to intense and can really enhance an experience when used thoughtfully.

My first experience was with a Mistress Tissa in Philly and she drained my balls with the tens unit.  I was in heaven!!  I had another Domme in Atlanta use the anal probe on me.  That was fun but not as good at the experience in Philly.
