Would you leave a bad review if the provider wasn't safe?

I typically do not like to leave bad reviews.  If you can't say something nice, etc. But I recently had an impact session with someone who advertises BDSM sessions who did not follow typical safety protocols.

This person did not discuss safewords, limits, preferences, or if marking was desired or not. I had seen her before and thought we would discuss these things during the light spanking warm-up.  It was not.  I later found out that I was likely to show bruises but she never asked if that was okay with me and my homelife.  She said I should have realized I would be marked when I said I wanted more.  On top of that she shorted me on time. Next time I'll insist on the safety protocols I require and stop the session if it feels unsafe.  Lesson learned.

I worry about retaliation with  blacklists and such if I leave a bad review.  How do you all handle this type of situation.

Sorry that happened to you. Yes share your experience it’s unprofessional & unsafe not to discuss limits prior to playtime. I can’t image being married & hiding bruises on your tush from your SO it’s horrific. Please share this is what this great community is all about. I would love the opportunity to spank your culo! She just has no respect.

Good, bad, or in between, a review is merely a summary of how things went. I don't include every good thing that happened, every bad thing, or every in between thing, but I do try to paint a mind-picture.

How about this: imagine if some other client had had a similarly negative experience with her and put that in his review, you read it and have the info you need to make your decision to book her or not book her.

If services were not delivered, truth is truth.

Post it, dude.

I did end up posting and think it was the right thing to do.  Impact play is just one of her specialties so I limited my lack of recommendation to that.  Thanks for your input on the subject.

Re: The way I see it, the entire purpose of a review is to say what happened. Simple as that.
