You might just have to go meet her and see what you think.

You want to make sure she pays attention to your wants in the scene. Talk to her about her experience level in the particular kink you are interested in, see if she is active in the local BDSM community. You might ask if she is willing to meet you for a pre-session discussion meeting or something...I meet spankos all the time for coffee or something in order to discuss scenes and get comfortable.

Most of all, listen to  your gut. If something about her makes you uncomfortable, don't see her. But jsut becasue she doesn't have reviews is never a reason to not at least meet her and gauge your comfort level from there
