Hey All,

I am new to the bdsm scene and am very excited to get started. I have been a SW for the past four and a half years and during that time I have become increasingly curious about this world. If anyone knows any good books or have info on courses or just any tips in general on getting started I would truly appreciate it!

When I 1st started I was an Escort for an agency in College & they sent me out as a young blonde, sub.  lol I was no submissive, but was willing to learn at $1k an hour, this was back in 2001.  The first thing you need to know is what are you? (T/B/S) top, bottom, or switch?  

I was born dominant it is in my soul. I knew I was no submissive, but I can play the part & am a switch by nature. I bought books & DVD's to learn the Art of BDSM, then practiced. I would offer intro. specials because I was in training. I wanted to learn how to seduce a man, and be submissive even if I was truly a Domina. I watched my ATF porn star who does lesbian, but was a champ at taking the dick too.  Janine Lindemulder in 2004 did a movie called, "Maneater." I swear this movie changed my life. I love porn & recommend watching lots of porn in all genres.

Make a list of your interests & go from there. The possibilities are endless when it comes to BDSM fun. Be safe, trust is a must, and always care about your partners needs. I am a lifestyle BDSM player. I am also, a PRO.

That's a lot of great info thank you!!! I'm gonna do exactly that and make a list like you said. I have always been curious about it and told by many of my clients it's a very noticeable flame inside me and I would do well at being a dom. I'm into being a sub as well definitely but like you, I know I'm more dominant at heart ;-) Again, thank you so much for all the info and tips, stay safe out there! xoxo

Likewise! I've been told many times that I would make a great Dom bc it's my natural demeanor. I just have no idea how to even nurture that side of my personality. I would love to be someone's apprentice :) as I'm more into acting out and hands on learning, compared to watching porn. Any suggestions?

IMHO, being a Real Dom is something a man is born with.
I will cooperate with a "Dom in training" in a public scenario (because I am an attention whore!),
but unfortunately, I have very little respect for those who have to be taught. That is in my personal life.

In KinkCulture, I will cooperate with anyone who is "Safe, Sane & Consensual".
