I am reading much information dealing with offers as well as requests for golden showers and although i am aware of the term I am not at all sure of the practical.

To me GS is only mildly humiliating, but I've been fantasizing about it since I was 13 or 14 and read about it for the first time.  I can certainly see that for someone who didn't become sexually aware thinking about it that a GS would be fairly humiliating if that's what the Domme wanted.  My experience has been that most Dommes treat GS more as intimate play than anything truly degrading  Of course for me a little humiliation and general depravity is a huge part of the fun, so I suppose it's a to-each-their-own world, isn't it?
