I get requests all the time to do face sitting but have only done it a couple of times.
I have a gent who wants a prolonged session of face sitting and I am worried about his comfort and safety as well as myself.
I've seen the "thrones" that are specifically made for face sitting and think that would be a great thing to have for guys who want more than a few minutes of it. But the "thrones" are a bit pricey for someone like me who is just getting into this.
So I was wondering if you might have suggestions on either how to make my own throne or the most comfortable and safe position for me to queen someone either on a couch or in a bed.
Typically a three time uttered mmmmmppphhh or aaaaggghhh aaaaggghhh aaaggghh and slightly waving hands are a good alternative to "red" or other safe word. However the signal should be agreed to at the start of the session or worship time.
I believe in queening as the ultimate form of worship and I don't need a safe word even for prolonged sessions. The 'thrones' are worthless toys, the sub's face is the only appropriate throne. The difficulty is in finding a dominatrix that is truly into this form of dominance and one who enjoys it immensely. Most are very mechanical about it or keep some form of clothing on which defeats the whole purpose.

Have the sub hold something in his hand like a tennis ball. If it drops, get up--he's either safewording or he's lost consciousness.
Maybe something that makes a bit more noise than a tennis ball when it drops--but what?
There are tons of books on how to do "safer BDSM" out there. Many of 'em have a "male dom/female sub" focus but it's easy enough to reverse. Some of my faves:
_The Loving Dominant_ by John Warren _Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns_ by Philip Miller & Molly Devon _The New Topping Book_ and _The New Bottoming Book_ by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy _SM101_ by Jay Wiseman _The Lesbian S/M Safety Manual_, sorry but I forgot the author. Despite the word "Lesbian" in the title, it's got plenty of stuff that's applicable to straight couples too
I've also seen a few books on how to build BDSM furniture but I can't think of any titles right now.
