Forgive me because I don't know the terminology, but I'll try to describe the electric play I've experienced.
Basically, 2 kinds.
1. Someone has the device attached to them and when they touch someone else both people feel slightly painful shocks at the point of contact. The lighter the touch, the stronger the shock. If you just grab them, nothing, though then you are part of the current and if you touch someone else then the shock occurs at that point of contact. You can have a whole train of people. And different places you touch will react differently. For example, if you touch someones head, their hair getting in the way makes contact come and go non stop, so it's really painful. I'll leave it to you to decide if that's good or bad.
2. With the right equipment, you can attach electrodes to someone and they cause the muscles to contract. The equipment can usually be set on steady, or pulsing. This isn't painful like a shock. But it's very interesting. I had a domme once use a toy like that on me. She put it in my ass, and it was just a dildo. Then, when she turned it on, the way my muscles pulsed and contracted, if felt like I was being fucked, even though it wasn't moving.
This is varsity level play. Not for beginners. In some cases, you need to make sure the current doesn't go by the heart. I would, HIGHLY, recommend finding a domme who is experienced in electrical play and going for a tutorial, or even a session to see what it's like on the receiving end
hy are you doing it? This is not the kind of stuff you can jump in with both feet and just randomly start doing shit without GOOD COMMUNICATION and some fucking KNOWLEDGE about what you are doing. Electricity is a bit higher level play than smacking someone on the ass or using a flogger, someone can get really injured if you do it wrong. If your playmate doesn't communicate well, make him learn or don't play with him...you are the Dom, be in charge!!
Second - while you are correct that your lack of male genitals gives you a different play experience than your male partners will have, you should still have some idea of how what you are doing feels. In some circles (and this may be years ago) the more respected Doms are ones who were at one time subs - their experience as a sub is said to make them a better Dom, and I kind of agree. Being a switch, I have an empathy with the bottoms I Top and have a much better idea of what buttons to push when, whether my bottom is male or female.
Find yourself someone to play with who loves electricity and you might find you enoy playing with it too. I have one of those estim boxes with all the dials and attachments, it is one of my favorite toys to play with, I just love the begging that comes with it!
