Don't Be Creepy

This is in response to an excellent question asked just below . . .

The Freedom of Fetish BDSM podcast had an episode a while back dedicated to guys who had a hard time finding female play partners, and the show made a point to call out the importance for Tops/Doms/Masters to "not be creepy".  We attract some of the smartest and most creative people you'll ever meet, but a number of these same people need help with their social skills.

This wasn't directed at the BDSM community, but a college professor once felt so bad for his students that he created this website (link below) to help his awkward protegees with the ladies.  You'll see it was directed at engineers, programmers and scientific "types".

Several things here strongly apply to the BDSM community as well, if you want to avoid the "creep" factor yourself:

- Creepy is weird with romantic intent.
(re-read that a couple of times, and memorize it, if you have to)

- Arrogance isn't attractive, and it's not necessary. Your friends don't need convincing, and your enemies won't believe you.

- If she thinks you're creepy, the best thing you can do is leave her alone.
