I have done this

Both as a Top (I had him wear a shirt he could stand to see get tossed out and it took a week before I found all the buttons, LOL!) and as a bottom (a couple of little cuts here and there in fabric can make lingerie much easier to rip )

I would expect him to choose the setting, and provide the clothing. Otherwise I keep a stash of casual dresses and tops/bottoms that are easily replaced. Never had the opportunity to play that way, however. The imagery makes me excited, routinely.
