I find providers, or "service tops" as I am told they are supposed to be called, like this really interesting.  It's a balance of wanting to please you, but also wanting to make sure that they are in charge.  (or on top). Few really strike the balance well.  Either getting so mechanical that the session feels like some S&M parade from one practiced scene to the next or being so aloof that in the midst of it you realize that she actually doesn't care if you have fun or not.  Though the analogy isn't great, the best are like therapists, who take you to a place you may need to go even if you don't know or wish to acknowledge it.  The best sessions always leave me feeling like I've had a mental and physical massage (even sometimes with the attendant pains) and these bring me back. Hoping to find that feeling again.

The expression "Service Tops" specifically means that the Top is there to service your needs, not theirs.  Thus, if they seem disinterested or not really into it, the reason might be is that the type of play that you enjoy is not the type of play that they enjoy, or they play with a different intensity or even orientation in their personal life.  But money is money, and the customer is always (usually) right.

Still, the good ones will delight in taking you there and realizing your fantasies, even if it's not their thing.  As usual, YMMV.

There are several things I am not interested in, and lots of things I love to do so much I would almost rather do them than anything else. I don't accept sessions if I don't have an interest in their request, and will usually point them toward a Domme that I know will take good care of them
