COTA Trip, Info Please?

Unfortunately I will have no hobby time on this trip, but any COTA advise is greatly appreciated.

There seems to be a better selection of hotels in the Aboretum area.  What should I expect to encounter with traffic back and forth from COTA?  BTW, this trip is for the WEC race in Sept, not F1.  I'm sure traffic concerns will be much worse for the F1 weekend.

Also, if anyone has any tips regarding parking at COTA, I would also be indebted.

LOL, rather than call out the fine folks of Austin, I choose to believe they prefer indoor activities to sports car racing.  

 
Actually, I do as well, but this trip is a three day racing bacchanalia.

I will get to sample the night life one night, but having a traveling companion rules out hobby time
