Yesterday morning I got a call from a provider (friend of mine?)who had been out of town for the weekend. I had left her a message or two over the weekend. She volunteered to see me sometime yesterday after her other two appointments. I told her that I didn't want to work her to death, but she insisted it was no problem. She then volunteered to call me back with the time. I called her twice during the day and she finally returned my call around 4:30. We made an appointment for 8:00. Later she called to cancel because her 5:30 was running late and she didn't know when he'd be there. She tried to reschedule for a different day but I was hopping mad and made no response. She told me she would hold Thursday evening for me. Here's my question - Why did she cancel me instead of the late guy who was causing the problem? After all she called me. I really enjoy seeing this young lady, but this is a snub I cannot ignore. Ladies what do you think I ought to do?
It's very simple....don't see her; many ladies will not see a client if they cancel with them at the last minute; why should the reverse case be any different? If so , is there a double standard present?
I would suspect if you had access to ALL the facts, there is a $$ issue here, because it seems common courtesy seems to go out the window when there is a better payday at stake.
***SIMPLE***....I agree...don't see her...there are plenty of other ample providers who are willing, ready, and able to give of themselves and not waste or tame your time for granted...write her off as a loss....and call another provider.
