Pick a reputable provider and call her.  Explain that you are a "virgin" to the escort business and the reference dilemma.  

Your business proposal is to pay her for an hour of her time at a public place so you can get to know each other (a nice bar near her incall is a good idea).  You are paying her solely for her time (one hour).  Schedule this at a non-peak hour (not on Friday and probably during the early part of the day).

Meet at the appointed time, provide the envelope upon your introduction.  Spend the hour talking to each other, but not about business. After that, what two adults do on their own time is completely up to them. I acknowledge that there is a small chance you won't get to Graceland but I consider it a minute possibility.
