Woke up ready.  Dragged my feet with my favorite agency and missed my opportunity.  Went on the hunt.  Found something that was with another agency but now indie.  Convo was flat and disinteresting so I kicked that one down the road... maybe later.  Went through my service to set a first-time appointment at another agency.  You think you're good with several reviews out there, 27 okays here, 12 there, over 6 years in the hobby from Cali to Florida... but mention of one-third of your mixed heritage during a FULL screening with a "listed and friendly" agency suddenly means there are "no openings tonight."  Okay, now I know.  Used to run through AMPs back in the day but don't want to fall back on that.  Check the Page (sigh) and find something cute that I'v seen posted for a while and is documented here.  Easy setup. Met.  Initial excitement quickly tempered... should have followed what the between-the-lines in the reviews told me.  Nothing much more to say.  Now I'm at a bar, on my fifth Tanqueray, blabbing on TER.  Feeling like Charlie Brown.
