Who do you think you're fooling?

So recently I traveled to Hickory, NC. I even pre-booked a week in advance. Everything seemed in place until the day of.... then radio silence. Stood up number one. Then got to my hotel, did a little research and set up appointment number two and yes, stood up number two. So I go have a few drinks and a nice meal and decide to do a little more research. As I go through the ads, very few from TER and they are the ones that stood me up, I run across the ads with "Age Listed 25" and then I go and look at the pictures. :o You have to be kidding me, does anyone fall for that crap when the person in the picture is CLEARLY two decades or more older than the age? I think you see this more in the smaller markets but I just shake my head and think, what the heck is that lady smoking. I think most guys know that women cut their age by several years, even one lady in Atlanta has been posting 30 years for the last ten years :)) ,  but please try to at least post an age within the same decade of your real age. That's all. Just wanted to rant a little. Have a good evening folks!

I agree.  I was given a hard time for my age and someone kept changing it saying I was older than I really was.  I finally gave up.  There are a few in Atlanta that have been posting for years with the same age.  Years and haven't aged a bit!  You can tell they aren't the actual age.  Fooling a few I suppose.  I mean when the guy shows up, isn't he going to be surprised?  I guess if they can get away with it, good for them.  :( No sour grapes for me! Or maybe I'm just jealous?  LMAO!

I think it just does an injustice to themselves because then men don't take them serious and I would say they do not get treated the same as if they were classy and accepted the fact that we all get older and should be proud of where we are in life.

Sorry that happened to you.

Pictures always win out over age for me.  Listed age on TER profiles and websites don't get updated that often unfortunately, so I look at pics to help my decision.  A picture's worth a thousand words, right?

That's why a lady having recent pictures in her ad is critical to experiencing good date.  The gent will know what to expect when he meets her, and she will know that gent is interested in the "real" her.  Not the her from 12 years ago.  Or the her 20 pounds lighter.

I agree with your point that all the info pics and age should be accurate and up to date.  I've just learned to take listed age with a small amount of skepticism.  Show me good, recent pics and I'll be the judge.

Don't despair - there are many, many honest, hardworking, wonderful girls to find around here.  Just like any other business, the ones that treat you right, are fair, and give good customer service will get repeat business.  The scammers won't.

Now to find my pic back when I had a full head of hair, I have a hot date coming up and she wants to see what I look like.

I was a real stud back in the day.

;-)

I would never do a comb-over however I did invest in a mirkin!🤔🤔
