was that just the way some hobbyist feel. To me it's always in the eye of the beholder! My one and only ATF that I had for many years was an 11/11 to me (And she does not do Greek), but most of her reviews were 8/9 and 9/9. To me she was the most perfect provider I have ever been with, but to others she was just one of the really good ones

I've never been able to post one.  
I've tried exactly twice.  

The first got downgraded to a 9/10 from a 10/10 and I have no idea why. She was a Hall of Fame/ Porn Star Legend for crying out loud! At that time she was as stunning as ever I remembered her from her films. She was spectacular to be around. Not sure why TPTB at TER dinged her appearance instead of her performance, but it was done. I didn't argue. HOF/PSL Fantasy Fulfillment Achievement removed from the Bucket List (once in a lifetime for sure), so that's good enough for me. She was nice for a couple of years afterwards until she retired from providing as well.

My second 10/10 was with foreign exchange student type of agency gal I really hit it off - extreme beauty and brains (IMO) - but she was downgraded b/c she didn't do anal.  Was/Is anal a requirement? She got better in her performance on subsequent visits - but that's the chemistry of shared experiences. Still, she never did anal and I didn't care.

The 10/10 on the first date is much more elusive. Regardless of how much research you can possibly do, there's no amount of certainty that she'll blow your mind (as well as your eyeballs) out of your skull. Since I've never been able to post a 10/10 review (regardless of my experiences), I figured 10/10s are Unicorns - you've read about them but have never seen one for yourself.

Furthermore, how are many first time reviewers able to post 10/10 reviews for ladies who only see guys with 2 references? That phenomenon is beyond my pay grade.

I think for me though I would have to be totally oblivious to the world and totally 100% into the woman I was with but then again your 10 is your 10 and mine is mine.

The first 10 score I gave had  blown my mind. Then several more kept raising the bar. Looking back I think I can conclude that provider sex has been superior to civy sex. I love Atlanta providers!  They make me wish I were young again!  So now I'm faced with shifting my reviews to those of an experienced monger-- so going forward I have a base to provide comparison. But bottom line is I love women, and if I have a good time, she will get a good score.

I believe if you go to the review tab, there is a link for Review FAQ which gives the criteria for assigning reviews.  A 10 is supposed to be "1 In A Million."  I don't know how many providers there are in Atlanta, but based on that criteria, there should be at most 1 or 2 10's.  The problem, and I am part of that problem, is that there are also way too many 8's, and 9's.

There is a connection, one that almost leads to a compulsion.  If after 10 or 20 visits, you finally think she is becoming routine, you had a 10 on tharpt early date.  With the variety in Atlanta, if you schedule a 4th date, you probably had a MORE event.

I have had a few 10 dates in the last 5 years.  They all become "go to" girls that you schedule first.  

 I don't rely on other ratings, unless I can read the review and get feel of what is liked, a,lowed, etc.  there are a handful of reviewers I totally trust because they are usually clear cut indicators of what is success for me.  A lady has to almost try to get below a 7, if she even puts in normal amount of effort, so I am okay with high number of 8s - tells me she is solid professional that does the job, but may not connect beyond a business encounter

The problem with awarding 10s for performance is that it implies that you are never having better sex than that (personally I find that depressing, to think that my peak experience was reached and will never be reached again).  A 9 leaves room for hope.  If the score included decimals, then I could give a 9.5 or a 9.8 and still have room for better.  If you think of figure skating, you can't award a perfect score to the first skater because then there is no room left for a better performance score.  That is why they usually leave the higher ranked skaters for the end.  So if the best skater is in the middle of the pack and the score is a 9.5, then all the other scores will be lower from there.  Scores are a relative ranking and should always leave room for a better performance.

Looks are a different issue.  I could give 10s to a whole lot of different looking women.

That's the thing, 6's and 7's are really good scores. But the way things are now, providers are really offended by a 6 or 7. Anything less than an 8 is a slap in the face.
