After reading the thread surveying the age of other hobbyists here, I began to wonder what providers think of younger clients. I'm 25 and am new to the hobby, but the first provider I met was visibly surprised about how young I am (hence the alias for this). And after seeing that most hobbyists are roughly twice my age, it made me think twice about getting deeper into the hobby. So what do you think when you open the door and there's a client that's either close to your age or (possibly much) younger?

Maybe some of the other hobbyists can weigh in on when they started seeing providers and give some insight as well. I'm finally at the stage in life where I can afford to hobby, and I've always had pornstar fantasies that I'd love to finally experience with girls of that quality (the first one was not but I figured it was better to ease into the hobby, which was a bit of a mistake in retrospect). Maturity isn't really an issue for me and I'm always respectful, but the way the first provider reacted to my age wasn't something I expected. So any guidance would be really helpful!

"Thank the lord! Not another old guy!" If you look younger than your 25 years, to the point where she's wondering if you're legal, then that would be the reason for some consternation. She may also be bracing for you to be immature, rough (or otherwise really bad at sex) and disrespectful (i.e. treating her simply as a fuck toy). If you turn out to not be any of those things, then she's absolutely happy for the change of pace.  

It really comes down to how well you two can relate. Generally, this is a bigger issue for the young women (18-early 20s). By the upper 20s and older, the age/generational divide doesn't matter much.

Here is how I see it. There are a couple of issues that are customarily associated with younger hobbyists, such as:
1- They usually haggle too much on the provider's rate.
2- They are not as respectful as their older peers.
3- They may demand a lot during the session.
These issues may apply for many but not all young hobbyists. So, if you are able to disprove the above myths, i.e be ready to give her asking gift, be respectful, and take your time to make your encounter mutually enjoyable, I'm sure most providers won't have any problem seeing younger providers

Respect, compatibility, passion, hygiene, ect (i.e. Everything else!) matters far more!

It really is more of a Maturity thing in my experiences than your age.  With men, we tend to need a measure of both as they go hand in hand. If your life experiences are like mine, you grew up quickly and have people tell you that you have an "Old Soul".  

Yes, at first I'd lie and say I was 30, though I looked more like 20.  
By being polite, respectful of her time and using my manners, I was never turned away on a first date. My first few asked "Why are YOU here?" I mentioned the notions of "no strings", "no expectations afterwards", my career path "making me a marriage target for some but I didn't want to get someone pregnant and/or getting married." I was earnest and honest, and the ladies I chose to see tended like straight answers.  

I also didn't act too fickle on times and dates - a sure sign of immaturity. If something came up on a repeat visit back then, I'd be polite about it and let her know ASAP. Only one provider would not see me again after I cancelled, but Life Happens. I still Hobby when I can, and TER is a big help.

The only time I saw fear was with one of my first experiences. She figured I would have the abilities of a teenager or a jack rabbit that could recover 20 seconds after orgasm for rounds 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and Demand It!  At that time, I could recover (not that quickly) but I did not ask for round 2 - being considerate of her time. She took notice and offered round 2, which we enjoyed. On a repeat date, she spent the night and we discovered the limits of our passions together. Fun times before she seemed to disappear.

I always make sure that the lady is aware of my age before the meeting. I did get turned down a few times for that but I was also able to see ladies who had clear age restrictions on their sites/ads by being respectful and by having solid references.  

However, I do get a little disappointed if round 2 is not available in an hour meeting lol

When you've had Chicken all week, sometimes you need a piece of fish! Lol. I love both, so either way I enjoy myself. I have had this same conversation recently with an older provider and our views were like night/day so I am curious to see the others ladies response on the subject.  

Personally, I love it. I get older guys that sometimes act immature and want a "special," or have a longer whitelist so they use that+reviews to bring down my rate, so to me haggling isn't an age specific activity.  

I don't get a lot of men my age, but when I do its usually pretty fun! I recently met a 26year old young black man (apparently this is the most unheard of thing in this hobby) and we had a blast. We were able to talk about things relevant to our age group, school siblings parents etc and even shared music! Obviously a friendly connection made the whole encounter amazing. He was very gentlemanly, and I was comfortable being around him. We extended our appointment and had some serious play time lol.

The provider I spoke with didn't entertain black men at all, and expressed to me young guys have too much stamina and are too big for her so she ends up taking the rest of the day off to recoop. Uhm ... *scratches head* ... In my world those are the best problems to have! Lol. An hour + a hot bath and my body is just fine, but I guess every woman is different.

As long as you can pass my screening, are a gentleman, and leave the checklist at home we will have a great time together. If i did have advice for you I would say be respectful when booking, use your time wisely and extend if need be, and don't let your age intimidate you from having the experiences you want to have. This world isn't made specifically for men 35+, and being a young adult does not make you any more/less mature. Life handles that for you

+1. I loved your post, and have asked a few of the younger guys I've met the same questions lol. But this is spot on. A little maturity and respect will take you anywhere you want to go, especially with the ladies

I think each must have her own very personal reasons.

I started at 27, and when I showed up the provider was stunned.  She said "You're young, how old are you?"  BUT, this was not asked until after round one, I think she was sizing me up.  Then she offered to do blown and go's at a very discounted rate, if I wanted to be a regular.  She seemed to be giving me the young man discount.

My second time, and the lady asked my age.  I asked her, and she said much older than you.  She looked fine, but definitely older than her pictures.  She also lied about her level of service, that was my first time being robbed . . .  oops, I mean YMMV situation.

Now you imagine that they see older dudes, and you imagine you get that...but you don't.  Imagination is not sufficient.  About 12-13 years into the hobby I had a mishap with an SD card from the camcorder, and I was given a recording of an earlier session.  No shit, this chick was with a friend and they were double teaming The Crypt Keeper!  Every square inch of this dude was wrinkled and those wrinkles had wrinkles!  He must have been late 80's, covered in liver spots, 5 hairs left on his head, and everything sagged.  Ears the size of saucers.  And they were doing it with enthusiasm!  Now, this first grossed me out, but, I'm not suckin his dick!  And then I actually was happy about it, because when I'm 85 I want a session like that!  And there are young girls that will do it!  That gives me hope for the future!

But until you see it, you don't really appreciate the service.  These girls act way better than you think, even when you think they've done nothing special and gave you average service, she was acting!  And you think you're young, but at 40, I see now that I am still young too!  I think most people under 60-70 are probably "young".  But there does seem to be a 40 cuttoff in the hobby.

I did get asked a lot about my age, but as I got fatter, the questions stopped by 35, probably because I looked 40.

I think there are stamina and expectation issues from younger men.  Also that question, why are you here . . . as dudes we have different answers.  My answer was, I have a wife, I don't need companionship, she'll talk my ear off any time.  I need a professional fucker with experience, and a hot body.  Sounds like we are on the same path, but you may have noticed by now that Provider does not Porn Star.  Even in the hobby, you still have to search for the gems!

Hey man I can understand your dilemma. When I first started in this,  I was in a similar circumstances wirh age. Like some post like men over 30 or even 40 and up. However, as I get more involved in the hobby and get older, i established myself. The thing that you need to do is either two things. 1. Get with a newbie friendly provider or providers.  The reason is that they can vouch for you and tell them that you are a credible hobbyist. Plus, some newbie friendly provider can teach you the hobby and have fun practice techniques and all. 2. Get referral sites like P411, date check and etc ... now some providers would need reference as well as that too. Have fun and just be yourself. At the age that you are at, you know how to act and all.

Thanks for all the advice and guidance, from both the ladies and the gents! It's definitely given me some more confidence in my situation. It's reassuring to hear maturity matters more than age. Plus you guys gave some great tips on how to handle certain questions providers might ask. Hopefully this helps some other younger guys out there dealing with similar situations.
