get rid of the damn "top lists" once and for all and say good riddance.

TER was never supposed to be about creating a free ad venue for the ladies. It was intended to be a place for guys to share their experiences to keep from getting ripped off. These "top lists" accomplish the exact opposite, and encourage fraud, deceit, and outright extortion from shady women here only to make as much as they can off the saps who cave under the pressure and outright threats of retaliation.

If anyone doubts me, just go to the Chicago board, where some BSC hooker is trying to ruin a hobbyists good name because he gave her a 7-7. The instances of this type of behavior is at an all time and I maintain that these coveted "top lists" are at the root of the problem.

I would have to agree here GaG! I think the top 100 also promotes more ridiculous competition more so than one would ever imagine even to the point that not only do ladies try to ENFORCE that high rating or else but also threaten guys that try to review certain ladies. What  is the actual reason for the top 100 anyway? If a guy wants to find the best of the best then I thought that's what just plain out reviews were for anyway as well as provider Friday and backchannel. Don't get me wrong, I am sure it helps a lot of ladies and that is wonderful but it seriously is more than its worth IMO and opinions are like assholes, we all have them lol!!
I also agree with Grace though, how is a lady suppose to get reviews so often if she is low volume and rarely sees new gents? I am in the same boat so just shoot me for having good regulars lmao!
Getting new reviews is like pulling teeth especially with the threats these guys receive for not giving a high enough score AND for reviewing other ladies.  Here is the thing though, if a lady does drop off top 100 as soon as she does get a new review she will be right back one there so no big deal in the end.

I agree with the complete removal being a great idea. Especially now that I'm not on it. lol (JUST JOKING) It seems those list do seem to ruffle a lot of people's feathers- both male and female. lol  However, it's obvious, we don't call the shots with T.E.R. I never intended or set out to be on the list to begin with, nor did I try to make the list for free advertisement, however, that's exactly what being on it for 2 years plus had been for me.  And that's not because I "tried" to be on it nor "manipulated" any system to remain on it. I just happened to be on it because I've always done my best to be a respectable and fun service provider  that treats everyone I come into contact with the way I would like to be treated.

on the top of ANY list, whether it is published or not.  Certainly all of us hobby guys maintain our own "lists," and word of mouth goes a long way.  I've never had the pleasure of visiting with you GK (yet), although I aspire to, and yet you're in my top 10 based on everything I've read and seen of you, and I've never even seen the TER top 100.

There are pros and cons to the top 100 list. I personally do put some weight into it but if I am checking a providers reviews and she has at least 5 reviews (with each of the reviewers having multiple reviews to weed out the fakes) and if she has a really good score I will see her and not wait till she has gotten 20. Of course this is only a small percentage of my choosing. Personal attraction and services makes up the biggest part of my decision when seeing a new lady.  

My opinion is the list should be fresh.  

For new ladies that has just hit the 20 marked this is a great opportunity for them to shine. They get advertisement and all the different possible rewards that may come from them being on the list. (Rates, travel, ect.) They are getting started building their reputation and a client list.  

There are a lot of factors in why an established lady might not need to be on the list anymore.
She has her regulars and is not taking any new clients. In that case no reason you should be on the list and advertise to the world I am ranked whatever, but I am not seeing any one new. Let another lady build her reputation and business.  

For providers that are low volume you probably are one that has regulars/same customers. If you are only seeing one or two clients a week why would you bump a regular for a new guy and jeopardize that. Which goes back to what I previously said there is really no reason to be on the list because the chances of a new client getting an appointment with you is very slim.  

If you do lose a regular and start seeing new clients then once they review you you’re right back on the list to let everyone know that you are seeing new clients and seeking new business.

Other factors are…  

If you don’t tour eventually going to see everyone that you want to see and they want to see you unless you get a business man coming through town, someone new to the hobby (which some top rated providers will not see without references) or someone moves to your area.  

Providers that are very exclusive to who they see. CEO’s, celebrities, ect.  

I know this list brings blackmail and extortion from some clients and providers and that is defiantly a con.  

There are questionable reviews that mysteriously pop up another 10 out 10 every 3 or 4 months like clockwork.  

Eventually you’re going to bump into a wall and that might keep you off the list from any of the reasons above. Should you stop screening and see 80 guys a day. No. Unless that is your thing. LOL It’s just a list who cares unless it’s just that important.  

Just remember you don’t need a list to tell you wonderful you are. :
