Being popular can really get to someone's head....I mean I understand ladies will go after the biggest prizes, but what ever happened to loyalty and grandfathering in rates? I understand it's a business, but there's got to be some value in seeing a repeat client and knowing you won't get hurt or in any trouble.
Basically, it's the same argument that football and baseball players have used for years. "I might only be able to do this for x amount of time, so I better get what I can while I can."
Hard to blame them but I feel your pain. This is not a hobby for a weak pocketbook. I got very spoiled by low prices and grandfathered rates but now most of the ladies I want to see are $$$ and up. For those that are lovely and have great service I have no problem paying a little more, but I do have a cap of cost verse need. That hurts me as some think I am just being cheap but when a session starts to become a major part of a weeks income, I can no longer justify it. So I see who I can afford and when I can afford. And if there is one special jewel that catches my eye I might budget a little heavy! OK so I am a weak SOB!! Sue me!
Had one of those do that to me a few years back and didn't "grandfather" me in even though I was a major regular of hers. Almost doubled her rate with no change in service. But, on the flip side, I saw one of Atlanta's all-time greats when she was starting out and she never charged me more than she did the first time I saw her...and it was a steal! She's now retired and I miss her sweet smile every day!
I feel your pain but if she sees you as a ticket number get out there and conduct interviews for a new ATF. Plenty of quality pussy out there to be had! Just remember to>

A year ago I had one that the first time I saw her was $200, a month later became $250, two months later was $300 and just looked her website and is $350. I went along the the first couple of times but this last time.... Sorry time to look for greener pastures
I have one Lady I have been seeing for over 10 years....
She is definately ATF and really about the only professional provider I see...
She grandfathered my rate a while back, and if I had to make a guess I would say for the following reasons
1) I am always respectful of her person and time 2) She knows me. She knows I am safe and not demanding 3) Understanding. Sometimes these ladies lives do not always go the way they might want them to. When they do and they need to cancel very quickly, no big deal, be understanding
Also, I am definately no big time client. I only see her a few times a year. With time and finances tese are all that I really do.
If she is really an ATF and you had any type of connection, you should feel comfortable enough to talk with her about it.
Don, She may have become your ATF, but what have you done to be her ATF
For instance I have been surprised when two long term ATF's offered me a rate decrease for a couple of months because I was trapped in a cash availability dip when my pre economic crash commision tail was not covered by new deals closing. In both instances they would rather have scheduling thru them at a pre negotiated reduced rate for a short time than finding new friends more permanently.
Why did they offer this? Mostly these are really smart high class women but 1. Their volume was generally down 2. I agreed to more last minute scheduling or outside their high demand times 3. I helped one out of a personal issue once 4. I have good client behaviors - I will let ladies explain this 5. I remembered silly things like Xmas, birthdays, favorite things, etc. As one said, I have always treated her as a special lady first, business relation second 6. I did not ask, respected their rules, but was honest about why I would be calling them less 7. Simply put they have fun with me, we laugh, they love my fantasy challenges, and they really like a special story I share with them and how I use it to connect.
I am NOT casting any stones, but this really is about to people connecting in highly intimate ways. We men often talk about finding ladies with certain it factor. Do you really think they do not hope for same thing in return? I am not talking about mangina dripping love confusion. But respect is often the best business binding currency you can offer
