I originally wasn't going to say anything at all; however, I felt compelled to say something because this is about to go down onto a bad path if we don't correct this. I might get ridiculed or what not. Before I start, this post isn't about me but the state of the Atlanta boards.
Right now we are experiencing a surplus of new provider and hobbyist coming on the boards looking for help and guidance. We also even having established providers who are either coming out of retirement or coming from other areas in the world on this board because either we are a close and helpful group or as few mentioned more entertaining than their own cities boards. However, it seems that there is a lot of rift or drama that it really shows. I mean we are having problems with providers against providers, hobbyist against hobbyist or as a matter of fact hobbyist against providers and vice verse. It is getting noticeable and putting us in a negative light. When I first came across TER, I was doing other hobbies; however, I found that the community been very insightful and helpful to me. I have met many providers and Hobbyists that I am close friends with. Also, in the hobby, I even ended several friendship with a few hobbyist and providers. When I became an established hobbyist, my goal and passion was to help those who are either new or what not and try to guide or help them reach success in this hobby life because I and several others went through the crossroads of this environment. Now, I noticed that a lot of providers and even hobbyist are either leaving TER or going UTR because of the rift and drama being presented on the boards. This presented a sad and disturbing feeling among the community and its not looking good. I meant we are suppose to be like a family or close group. Our appearance are saying otherwise and it isn't a great picture. I mean, I seeing post about providers are having issues with providers not helping one another out or etc. It is the same with the hobbyist as well. Right now, with the things that are going on I wouldn't blame the new people to back up from talking or seeking advice. It sad and needs to be fix or we will be like some of the boards: as a ghost town and nobody will be participating or contributing on here. Please try to talk and come with an understanding because the end result will not be good.-- Modified on 9/11/2015 7:19:31 AM
Someone wise said "Be the change you want to see in the world." I lurked on this board without contributing anything for a long while after joining TER. But ultimately I convinced myself that I should try and contribute to the community where I could. Either through writing reviews, helping others that had lots of questions like me, or just making people laugh (or at least attempting to, lol). I thought things were pretty good but I wanted to make them better still.
There are folks that see problems and do their best to improve the situation. Then there are folks that like to stand back and complain. The first group are productive citizens of a community that drive - and exhibit - positive change in society. The second group become internet trolls (apparently business is booming).
I was always impressed with the Atlanta board as a good example of folks getting along and helping each other. And frankly I wanted to be a part of that. And still do. And there is a sense of pride when you see other folks stopping by the Atlanta board just because it's a fun, lively place.
I honestly don't know who's doing what to who - but that's nothing new. But I do hope we keep our sense of community and southern hospitality that makes Atlanta (and this Atlanta board) such a great place.
So let's try to mend our fences and carry on. We have new people to help and others to entertain and even more we should set an example for. Let's show that great Atlanta spirit!
Oh, and if any ladies need a nice full body massage to reduce stress or anything, I will gladly donate my services. ![]()
It just seems like there is so much division and people are developing side that the end result is these new people that are coming would not have any dealings with Atlanta. I mean you have several providers who are in the top 100 and have a lot of experience just not in unity.
I grew to understand this community but at the same time. This community is going to be in trouble if the trends continue. If those that can't come together unify, then there's you and me and probably others who will extend our advice and wisdom to those who are new.
I found TER a few months ago after doing my home work and research. It was not hard to find at all and not hard to find out how everything works. I asked a few questions and met some helpful folks here. Bigjoe being one of them.
But it didn't take long for someone, with an alias, to start drama. Accusing me of being LE and even passing it around to folks. One of the agencies I was trying to talk with even received an email saying I was LE. Simply because I knew of TER and how the hobby works. That's crazy. It's not rocket science and not hard to find. I was very interested In joining an agency or trying it on my own but that really put a damper in my interest. I have made some contacts through another site and have some wonderful clients now but they aren't in the hobby per say. Thus no reviews.
Anyway, I'm getting off track here. But yes I agree with what Bigjoe says. I have personally witnessed it!
It can only hurt the community. ~Cassie
First and foremost, welcome back to TER. I would like to thank you for responding and agreeing with my post. I am glad that you have make used of another Avenue to pursue your journey. I hoped that the journey you pursue you reach your goals in it.
However, I do need to clarify and clear up that I have not met you or with you at all. My schedule constraint that I have, which people that know me can tell, would make it hard to meet with you.
However, I am glad that you have continued towards your journey. I haven't fully observed the situation which you and the alias provider had encounters but if the rumors are false, then rise above the situation and push through whatever your goal you set forth.
Your thread received a dozen or so helpful replies.
And one person posted asking you to verify you weren't LE, in spite of your first-time post asking for details on all the agencies in Atlanta.
Did your extensive research turn up the information about two agency busts in Atlanta in the past year? Did you notice the first-time posts here around that time by persons claiming knowledge and threatening further action? Have you heard anything about clients from those agencies databases being contacted by LE?
You seem weirdly sensitive about one alias post in a thread that was overwhelmingly positive to you, in spite of you being a complete unknown.
Thanks for your expert opinion about what can hurt "the community".
Here we go. More negativity. Yes maybe I am a little over sensitive. Sorry for that!
Just claiming to be a hooker doesn't make you one.
The vote is still out as to whether or not you are legit.
That's just the way things work around here, you have to prove yourself to us, not the other way around. We all went through it, don't think we are singling you out for special treatment
I agree with your comment!

Thank you so very much for your kind words and I would consider doing it. I just need a push in order to do this.
We are like big family to need to help each other not going against each other.
we need to keep everyone safe .
thank you joe you always have the right words .

You are definitely right. We are so divided as a community that anyone or anything can come in and possibly destroy this community. This is a community that everyone has an element for success. If we continue to fight and argue, this tight nit community will be terribly fracture to also be hard to repair.
The back stabbing and calling out providers and hobbyists on this level is bound to occur as we are not the elite of Atlanta society. I do anticipate that this trend will continue. I do hope that if Someone is called out that they have the balls to identify the individual.
I am not ready to sing kumbaya round the campfire. The real world isn't about peace in love. Case in point witness the 90% of the world that would love to nuke the USA into dust. So instead of talking about peace and love, let's keep it real. Um, this is a fuck board. I used to visit a very popular lady (#2) in this town, who never posted on the regional board. Her reasoning was that despite all the bs about 'community' the chicks were all back stabbers. In response, let me say that I do know a few ladies that are helpful to new ladies, and will offer guidance to them in an effort to help them on their way.
As far as guys, my .02 is to read the boards, lay back and don't ask stupid questions. It's not rocket science. Don't ask me who you should see, rank girl 1 through 5 for you, if so and so does CIM etc. Just do your research and you should be alright.
Have a great weekend ya'll.
I've been around a little while now and I can tell you this board and
Community is pretty much the same as when I started. Big personalities,
Girls comming and going, helpers who help and helpers who hurt.
Just follow your gut because it is what it is and not much more.
Thanks bigjoe2002 I think you may be on to something here.
xoxo
