I don't think that's scientifically accurate.  You see like charges repel - not attract.  Ok, turning off my smart alec switch now.  .  Emotionally speaking I agree with you.  I think attitude is everything, both in the hobby world and in the real world.  I could give you many examples in my life in which I got a job, project, or opportunity because I was confident I could get the job done.  And every one of those times I had no idea how to actually solve the problem.  But I was supremely confident in my ability to do so.  And I know my friends, colleagues, and employers all picked up on that positive attitude - that confidence.  And it has made all the difference.

I think that it applies in the bedroom as well.  Having a positive energy or confidence goes a long way to having a great session.  I always go in with the attitude that I'm going to have a great time and I almost always do.  Men (and women) are often so focused on performing well that they forget the most important thing - to enjoy each other's company and have fun.

In light of recent events it seems that can apply to our board presence also.  Maybe we should just try to enjoy each other's company at this virtual cocktail party.  I am going to try even harder to make everyone - especially the ladies feel warm, welcome and encouraged to contribute.  I'm concerned that some of the girls feel reticent about mingling with us boys.  And that's a very bad thing for us all - especially at a "party".

After all a party isn't a party without babes - am I right, guys?  Ok, the smart alec switch apparently can only be disabled for a short while...    LOL
