Many ISOs posted on the board annoy me as a waste of space and time - but not so much that I lose any sleep over it. The reason that they annoy me is that they seem to be a matter of laziness; someone wants someone else to do his research and due diligence for him. I expect that he will get what he deserves - which happens when you have someone else do your due diligence but....
If you are looking for something truly unusual - I can see it. For example, you are looking for an interactive triple which includes a submissive TS, a midget domme and a lactating pregnant woman who does Greek and will take a GS (LOL). I could see where this might be tough to find and so an ISO would be very appropriate. As it happens, you could probably find this in SF or NYC BUT I think I made my point. It's unusual enough to be entertaining. As another example, if someone does find a TER reviewed provider in Valdosta, I would find that interesting.
However, if all you are looking for is someone who serves the airport or downtown with a standard one hour package... it seems like just a matter of doing some research rather than a board broadcast would be the best way to do this. If nothing else, an ad board search should give you plenty of names. An ISO also seems like an obvious thing for LE to do in terms of intelligence gathering or possibly even entrapment. Also could be construed as pandering if someone who is not the provider responds to it....
But worst of all - it's not very entertaining. It gets asked (and answered) alot. There is one agency, for example, that will invariably respond positively to any query about the airport or downtown (or nearly anywhere else..). Call them - leave the board out of it.
