I was glancing at the general discussion thread and I noticed the thread there about a minimum age requirement. It seem the hobbyist was quite upset that a provider wouldn't see him because of his age.  I was kind of  surprised that there are hobbyists that are young, Im talking about  range 21-29. I started to hobby around my late 30 and I'm just hitting 50. In my twenties , I probably wouldn't never considered hobbying. But then again if I had the income I have now then, it might be a different story lol. So my question to the Atlanta providers, would you turn away a potential client because of his age even if he can pass screening and provide references?

Yes - as a simple matter of definition, preference = discrimination.

Someone with nor boundaries or preferences would be "indiscriminate", the opposite of discriminating.

I'm a Hobbyist in my 20's (late 20's), and notice most providers don't care.  But yea some make it clear in their ads or website that there's an age limit, I don't contact them.  Not because they wont see me (because in the end, how can they really know my age until I show up at the door) but I rather not see a provider that may have a prejudice or a bias against younger guys (may affect the experience).  Though I understand that past clients (in their 20's) may been "those guys", the stereotypes and messed it up for the rest of us, so I have no grudge against providers with age limits, I'm sure enough young knuckle heads made them set up an age limit.

All of the providers I have seen are somewhat surprised when they see me (because I look like I'm in my early 20's), so they always slip in "so how old are you" somewhere in the first few minutes of conversation.  I gues they are just surprised (pleasantly I hope) that I have no grey hair and not a single wrinkle on my face lol.  When you get in your late 20's that's when the willing effort of "chasing tail" diminishes greatly and you realize in the end you just ended up spending more dough in this pursuit than the cost of an hour with one of many beautiful providers in the area and then *light bulb*.  So I'm glad most providers seem to not care.  My long 2 cents :-).

Now if all 20-something clients had your mentality about arrangements, it would be perfect. What I learned through experiences from a couple of years ago, is that since I actually fall into this same age range, sometimes they tend to haggle you about rates or even treat you with less respect moreso than with a more mature provider. However, I did have a repeat 19 y/o client when I was 20 and he was an angel. In and out, donation in hand, not overly "excited" and hugs and kisses before departure. PERFECTO. As for now, if he can pass screening and has knowledge of how to conduct himself in all aspects from arrangement to departure, I have no qualms with seeing 21+.

But truthfully most providers Ive conversed with said they preferred gentlemen 60 or older because they're more likely to act like a gentlemen.

Young guys usually bang like rabbits where as older guys may need medication to get an erection such as Viagra or cialis!

Generally if your money is green and you're easy to screen... this hobby can be enjoyable for everyone young and old.

Makes sense for a women to not necessarily be attracted to a man 10+ yrs younger.  I actually think that's pretty common, which is why I don't seek 30+ yr old providers.  I have this self-consciousness that a 35 yr old provider would look at me like "who is this kid" (thus negatively affecting the experience).

But there's definitely a hobbyist bias as well.  When I see a provider under 21 I question their experience (well I also think about that fact should I be banging a chick that can't even legally drink lol).  So I like to stick to 23-25 with experience.  I guess in a way both hobbyist and providers are both playing "employers" and looking at resumes, and age has its significance.

Well I am not sure how old you are but you seem very mature by your post! I will add that there have been exeptions to the rule however that is a very rare :)
Having children that are grown is a big part of it for me for sure and just maybe that is one reason I am not attracted to youger guys. Hell even when I was 18 I ended up marrying a 38yo! lol I am just a sucker for the older guys and guys my age I guess. Yes I would agree age does have it's signifigance :)
