Tell me if this smells fishy to you: I get a call for an appt and he says his name is (starts with a K) and that he's a "TRE" member. Well, his username didn't even come up. Two minutes later, I get another call from (different name, but starts with a K) who says he's also a "TRE" member. This username checks out (with over 20 reviews) but the references that he gave me were of girls he gave bad reviews to. When asked why he explained that was because he's only seen a few girls. Am I just paranoid?

with your screening for this guy. Are his reviews recent? With 20 reviews, you'd think that he'd be okay, but you never know. If your gut tells you to pass on this one, then pass.

Interesting. Did the voice of the 2 calls sound the same or even close? Plus, the references were, according to him, from girls he gave bad reviews to and that was because he has only seen a few????

He obviously hasn't used this place for any real research, since it is quite easy to get a really good line on ladies to choose from. And, how does 20 reviews turn out to be seeing only a few women?!

Sounds a little fishy to me.

Is to have them send a PM on the TER mail system. Now they match up and you can check for whitelistings they may have. A gentleman would need to be a paid member to use this system and so must you. Money well spent if you ask me.

Thanks for the advice. And BTW, the voices sounded identical. I think when I told him that his username didn't show up he just picked one that he saw and called me from another number.

Only proves VIP membership. One can get VIP by paying for it doesn't have to write reviews. There is no such rule. I for one pay for VIP.

Your first line of defense is always your guts. If you don't believe then, there is something rotten.

Reviews, TER mail, etc., etc., are not full proof and fool proof. P411, DateCheck are more full proof.

A public forum may not be the best place to ask for verification and screening information since anyone can read it, including "K".  And obviously his information didn't match up so why air it here.  We have a Provider Only board for exactly this type of stuff :-)  

 Being publicly naive about your own methods of screening was probably not the best way to handle this situation.  

Does it smell fishy? Girl, it reeks.
