Tipping

As in all service related industries I am happy to leave a tip for exemplary service.  My question to hobbyists and providers alike...how's the best way to present the tip?  Consideration is in envelope left wherever directed. Decision on tip depends on service. What is the preferred method to give the tip?

...I just reach for her hand as we go for the good bye kiss at the door. I don't often tip but that's how I do it.

Why not tip the proper way and be a discreet gentleman about it.  I normally book 90 minute or 2 hour sessions so I can get to know the provider a little so it makes for a more enjoyable session.  I always take a shower after my session and while I'm in the bathroom getting ready I put the $ in my envelope and give between $50 to $100 as a nominal tip....I get emails regularly from my providersI see thanking me for being a gentleman and my generosity.....I get unbelievable service from the agency's and independents I deal with...being cheap gets you exactly what you pay for....Doc

Thanks Doc.  That's what i was thinking, exactly the info I was looking for.  Wanted to be discrete and gentlemanly about it.  Thought slipping it into her hand was too much like what I do at Valet parking to be appropriate.

The discussion of tipping is tacky...if you want a happy provider:
Pay the recommended donation, be a clean client, respect time, be courteous and more importantly repeat.

That's all they want.

If you feel the need (and have the means) to tip...there is NO bad way to give someone extra.

I tip just before I leave, after gauging how the service was. I want to let her know that I appreciated the effort. I'm not pointing to it and making a big deal, just slipping another Bennie in the envelope.  One said, "you dont have to do that", and I said "I know, but you were great."

Is that de classe'?

My friends simply lay it out in plain view after the session, or on the way out.  Keep it simple.

Thanks for the information Mdm Patricia.  Might be more for my benefit than hers, but I prefer to be discrete.  Not like leaving the tip under my coffee cup at Waffle House!  lol

She may think that you were confused on the rate, and simply paid too much rather than giving her a gratuity. Just thinking (maybe overthinking).
