I travel for a living and enjoy status on our local hometown airline. I am cracking on a million miles and frequently fly over 100k a year. For my loyalty, I get certain privileges that - as everyone that travels will know - make life just a little bit more bearable. I get to get on the plane among the first, stow my bags up top, get fairly frequent upgrades to first class, get a couple of free drink vouchers every year, priority booking, access to the club lounge etc etc.

I am also a frequent hobbiest and manage to rack up a fairly significant number of "journeys" every week. I am cracking on almost 100 reviews on TER (and that's just the ones I have taken time to post) and try to remain loyal to certain providers and agencies (for as long as they stay around at least)

Ladies - anyone considered a frequency "flyer" club with bookings privileges, upgrades, easier boarding (sorry had to get at least one pun in), discounts on flights etc etc??

Guys - beyond the obvious on discounts, any creative ideas that you would love to see in a program like this?

Have met a lot of wonderful ladies,some choose not to remain in the bis and like tonight one of those will be sleeping over for 2nd time this week and while I give her $$$ cause she is struggling in a full time job(she always tries to give it back lol.)I have about 7/8 UTR friends and many that are still in the bis, those ladies that are... I do different things for at times and it works they take care & respect me and I them.
 Caldon I'm sure i'm no different than you or alot of the guys in this respect.And it's a small world ...one of my long time friends(been out of the bis over a year) dropped by my house monday (1st time I had seen her in 9 mos.), turns out she's been doing well & bought a house on my street (4 houses down  lol)
  I realize this.... our behavior whether hobbyist or provider... you get what you give (in most cases).There are BAD APPLES on both sides but I have found that it's a wasted effort to try and get them to see, or change.

1.  VIP number to call for appointments.
2.  First choice of any new models.
3.  Favorite beverages/snacks/toys available.
4.  Choice of fantasy or role-playing dates.
5.  24 hour availability.

Those are a few ideas.

It's almost over now, but I have taken full advantage of it. I have used it to see many of my faves, as well as some new girls. It was a great special, and I hope they run it again soon.

Win win for whom?  Obviously for you. You visited five or six times at the discounted rate, otherwise would have visited 2-3 times. Where's the logic?  You went more often sure, because of the lower rate, but admitted you would have gone 2-3 times anyway at the regular rate so the way I read it, the ladies did more work for less money. Sure, they made about the same, but had you in their bed more times. So who wins?  YOU, not them.  I feel sorry for the ladies who get stuck with the cheap bastards constantly asking for special rates (researchimg board history shows a pattern of the same repeat offenders asking for discounts).

Of course guys (not men) would love to get as much as they can for as little as they can. That's the little boy mentality.

Since this topic is somewhat common.....I'll bring up the somewhat common responses.
How many appointments does it take for your lawyer to give you a discount?
How many appointments does it take for your doctor to give you a discount?
How many appointments does it take for your mechanic to give you a discount?
How many appointments does it take for your accountant to give you a discount?

Get the idea?
You might with the examples....but why is a lady who offers a service any different?
Is she worthy of less respect?
Apparently so by anyone who would bring up such a topic.

They step outside their life to do a job. Monetary compensation for a skill. Simple.
Their skill is to pretend that 99% of the people they meet at 'work' aren't old, arrogant, needy, hairy, smelly, self-absorbed and self-entitled asshats who have no problem breaking their word (aka vows) to simply get what they feel they are entitled to simply because they have the coin to do so.

And some think they should discount the cost of this based on frequency alone?!?
Hell....they deserve hazard pay for putting up with some people on a regular basis.

These ladies aren't airlines. Treat them like the human beings they are...respect them....and you might just enjoy your time....rather than thinking about how much more you can get out of them, for less.

I DO get a discount from my Lawyer from giving the firm my tax business instead of just for general advice/contracts, not to mention the discount I get by keeping them on retainer.  Is this little boy mentality?
I Do get a discount from my Doctors when I use the other docs in the same network. Is this little boy mentality.
Same with my Mechanic - I DO get a discount from the mechanic now I take five cars to him rather than just one.  Little boy?

DD, I'm going to have to go with JP on some of this.  It struck me immediately that the point you were making was with professions that all discount (I'm taking JP's word on the mechanic, and mom gets a discount too).  Accountants and Lawyers almost never change 100% of their stated rate, and Accountants discount BIGTIME for volume (like 50%, in many markets 70% without any haggling or negotiating, or previous business relationship), Doctors frequently discount for network (and more importantly, many out of network doctors discount TO network prices so that patients won't chose a network provider), only my Mechanic fucks me at 100% (but he's in the dealership, and you know how they are).

As a service providing accountant I can tell you I only ever once had a client that billed out at 100%, and they got pissed and demanded a discount from the partner AFTER the fact, and guess what the client got 50% off . . .  (granted it was a million dollar bill, but still, the price was the price going into the engagement, they knew what the deal was).  Now, I'm on the other side, I hire the accountants and lawyers, and they all offer discounts.  In fact, we bring them on the same engagement to BID out the work, and let them know that if they want to do X job for $100, then the next guy will do it for $99, to which they offer $70 or even less.

Here's the thing, all these people are respected and get respect (I got plenty of respect when I was the provider . . . of accounting services), BUT as the provider in a competitive market discounts are expected AND demanded.  Respect and calling bullshit on a billing rate are two very different things.  So my issue isn't with your point, my issue is with what you chose as your analogy, the new professions do not charge the way the OLD profession does.  Question to you . . . can you think of some other service industry that does have a no haggle/discount policy?  I suspect not, but may be I just can't think of one . . . maybe you can.

Further, these service discounts in the new professions are for all kinds of things: exclusivity, size of a project, minimum billing requirement, get new business, keep old business, and even to screw over another firm.  All of it JUST business.

As for myself, I don't bother with haggling or asking for discounts.  I do my home work, and decide if the services offered and the consistency of service merit the price, and if so I go.  I have however seen a provider once because, even though she didn't do the things I like, she was hot and offered 90min for the price of 60min (to everyone, not a frequent thing).  And I had a nice time, not great, but I would do it all over again; however, at her normal rate we never would have met - she MADE a customer from someone that would not have been a customer.  Now I didn't make a friend and neither did she, we don't have a relationship, but she did make $350 and we mutually respected each other.

WHY is it so difficult to understand that what we offer is different from services offered by other professionals?

Doctors, engineers, accountants, lawyers are not likely to face diseases, the physical wounds,or time in jail every time they serve you. We DO. None of them have to give up personal live for their jobs. We DO.

None of them have to hide what they do with their families and friends. We DO.

Yes, we are adults and decide to get into this line of work voluntarily and for most part no one forces us. That said, our prices reflect the dangers we face and opportunities we give up.

Also, just because you do not get discounts, does not mean nobody does.

I just got back from dinner OTC with my regular customer. He books  the extended dates  once a month and I do socialize with him after hours to keep him happy. I also happen to like him as a PERSON.

Next week I go to the 3 day trip with another client at half price. Again, I LIKE this person and he is a good customer.

I have sent gifts to the clients i like, talk to them about their problems, chat with them on line, give them good pricing, priority booking and more.

If you do not get any discounts or special treatment you desire, you are just not valuable or liked enough.

I just saw where one of the top 3 was offering a 15% discount ,an agency on this thread has a Feb. special and I believe she said her business has doubled.So am I disrespecting these ladies if I see them?
In looking at the "top 100"(btw congrats to our hostess for being one) most offer similar services and so as the op was suggesting ..what perks would matter most to consumers.

Speaking for myself the "discount" comes in the form of a lady remembering who I am and which of my buttons to push. If she's someone whose company I really enjoy the last thing I'm going to do is ask for a lower rate. This ain't the sub shop where your 10th sandwich is free.

The OP was about whether it was good marketing strategy to offer incentives to regular customers, including non-discount incentives.  Somehow, the discussion morphed into what cheap bastards guys (like me) are who utilize discounts and specials.

Look this (fortunately) is a VOLUNTARY activity.  Nobody is forcing any provider or agency what price they charge or whether they should run specials.  It's purely marketing.  The are some agencies that NEVER run specials.  Others run specials every week.  Whatever works for them.  I personally think it makes good business sense to have special incentives for repeat clients, but it's UP TO THEM!

As to whether it's fair for the women who work at the agencies -- nobody is forcing them to work at an agency that offers specials.  I know of two providers that recently left an agency that regularly offers specials and joined another that never offers specials.  I hope it works out for them, but I won't be seeing them at the new place.  There are others who I will see at a higher price point without any discounts.  That's the free market at work.

They offer the specials to increase their business & the agency or lady would've made Zero those hours that I otherwise spent 4+ additional hours that month.  Folks really can't be that business illiterate can they?  

I really don't see how you could make such an illogical comment. If the lady would've split $600 for my two average visits a month at the full price, but split $1,500 at the discounted rate, which would you choose? Not to mention the additional $250+ in additional tips in the second scenario.  I just truly can't understand your logic or can only understand that logic if it was true that the lady's (Agency's) dance card was 100% full & every appointment could be filled at 100% at the full price. Which of course isn't the case or they wouldn't be offering the "special" in the first place.

Smallbizguy - interesting suggestions, really like the ideas.

I had an ATF a couple of years ago that allowed me some of these privileges, she would meet me out of her regular hours, prioritize my visits (or so she told me ), extended our time and generally made me feel special, in return, I was definitely a very loyal customer. When her business was slow and she offered discounts in her ads to other customers, I always made a point to pay the regular rates. She appreciated that and the cycle continued. I haven't found too many providers since then that actively do that, maybe I just haven't connected the same.

DD - it really was intended as a fun discussion, but interesting perspective and you certainly polarized the debate - didn't expect it to so quickly turn serious. "Respect" is fairly subjective though. Considering what we all do here, many would say that we are all very disrespectful to women - read most of the reviews and most would not pass society's normal litmus test of "respect". That said, we all choose where our personal moral and ethical lines are drawn, and if not compromising a lady's rate is important to you, fantastic. We are all different, have different standards and that's what makes life interesting.

When I ran specials, nobody took me up on them except for the worst clients on the face of the earth.  I mentally kick myself repeatedly 5 minutes into the session.....

The minute I accept a date for someone at a discount, then the email asking for a four dinner date for full rate on the same day and time hits my inbox.   Once again, I mentally kick myself.

I resolved the problem by adjusting my rates to the point where they are profitable and there is no room for a discount and then I would be operating in the red.  So I can't do discounts!  And I'm not hurting for biz and I'm not playing any favorites and hearing any whining about well he got a discount..... wah fucking wah!

FYI, everyone you mentioned have discounts including the doctors you see using your Health Insurance. When you see them, you are only paying the discounted rate negotiated by your insurance company. Next time you get a statement from your health insurance co, take a closer look.

Why do you go crazy about a post about rates or discounts? If you don’t give discounts don’t, say it and be done with it. It is general question, no reason to get all wound up. For what?

You want to charge $10k for an hour go for it and if you get it good for you and I am happy for you. There is no reason to hijack the thread. Suppose you pay list price for your car too and never buy anything on sale or use coupons.

Personally, I have been friends with many providers and have done a lot off the clock and helped them out when they needed help. Respect is not an action it is a feeling.

If you are referring to the agency girl he visited multiple times, you are probably wrong.  Sure, she can get back in the civvy world and find a real job so she doesn't have to fuk anybody, but if she's rising through an agency, you are wrong.

I know a few former agency girls and discussed with them, and not only do they usually not know who they'll encounter (unless a repeat they remember), they're shown the exit if they refuse to comply with agency policies.  Come on man, look at who is running some of these places.  There are some solid agencies in Atlanta with great owners, but there are also owners plagued by criminal backgrounds, and predatory instincts towards both their clients, and their models.

As for fucking for fun, you think it's fun fucking 5+ new clients there to see you solely because of the low prices?  Get real.  My lady friend confessed most of the guys who hook on those specials are undesirable clients, and probably why they tend to become defensive when it's brought up here. They're over worked and underpaid.
