It seems to me that the overall tone of the board is not as upbeat as it used to be.  There seems to be more of a focus on venting.  I used to enjoy reading funny anecdotes from the providers, seeing who is offering a special for the week... The mood seems to be a bit darker.  Does anyone else feel the same way?

I have seen a change in the last couple of weeks. Activity has slowed and the tone I think has changes somewhat.

Though I haven't vented about anything publicly in *years*.  I think I'm allowed once in a blue moon.

Our little microcosm is becoming more visible to the rest of the world every day.  We should expect it to continually change, as well as the types of people and moods we encounter from week to week (month to month, day to day, etc.)  We all agree its more fun when everyone is relaxed and having a good week.  But sometimes we just all have more crap to deal with, than usual, and it shows.  When it seems we're all dealing with bad manners and jerks at the same time though, I have to wonder if someone has poisoned our water.

Melissa Wolf's ass size and shape as it relates to a review's truthfulness; the load capacity of the average hobbyist; screening procedures; recent busts (arrests, not chests), etc.?

I personally sort of like the variety - but I'd like to see a bit more traffic and new posts though.
