critical. I can't just do the appointment not hear from the girl until the next time. I have to be connected, otherwise, I'll talk myself out of seeing them. If you don't have time to exchange texts "occasionally" I'll likely only see you one time.

provides the biggest bang for the buck for both parties.  A small text or email saying 'thank you....' greatly improves the probability of return.
