It seems that this is a growing trend. It seems that a lot of providers are going this route. I wonder what is normally the reasons behind this? How do they advertise that they are around or active?

...they have no web site, ads, or public presence at all. Many of the ones calling themselves UTR are not really since the fact we know they exist means they aren't UTR. I believe it's a way to draw attention. The allure of the unknown. It definitely isn't UTR.

...have already established a strong client base in the past and don't need to advertise.
For example, a lady I saw many years ago reached out to myself and some of her other regulars just to let us know that she was still available but not advertising or taking on any new clients.

Sometimes for personal reasons a provider needs to go UTR.  An agency is a means of doing business while maintaining a low profile.

Avoid advertising to prevent  people they know personally spotting them on the web i have a few UTR girls that i only advertise on here but wont put on other sites that have a higher rate of casual voyeurs looking at sites just to be nosey
