Unfortunately, I need to pass this info along to the community. I set up an appt with Angie's assistant Lexi yesterday through a string of emails, totaling 8.  We were set for an 8pm appt this evening.

Today I call at 4:00pm to confirm and Lexi says "Oops, I forgot to tell her, please hold while I call her."

She come back on the line 3 mins later and says, "We have a problem.  Aunt Flo is visiting, do you understand what that means?"

I said, "That's a shame.  Do you know you have her listed as "Available" on Eros-Atlanta.com right now?"

Her reply, "I guess I need to take that down."

I thanked her and hung up.

Lexi, do me a favor next time and say, "I fucked up and forgot to tell her you were scheduled and she made other plans or has another appt."  

Using the Aunt Flo excuse is poor and how would it have looked if I hadn't called and just showed up?  By the way, wouldn't it have been nice for you  to call me and YOU tell me Aunt Flo was here.

I am a little pissed off right now and this will lay heavily on if I want to see her now.  At $350 and hour, I would hope this isn't the way that your let someone run your business, because this sucks.

Even if Aunt Flo is visiting, doesn't this happen regularly enough that you can plan for it.  Also, it goes back to the statement of "I forgot" and then Aunt Flo is visiting... how convenient for her.  

All I am saying is that I would have rather heard "I fucked up and totally left you off the schedule tonight, let me make it up to you..." then falling back on Aunt Flo... I don't need to know her menstrual cycle, just own up to fucking up and we are all good.

I can't blame you for being pissed about falling through the cracks, so to speak.  Please tell though, how is it you are sure you have been lied to?  How do you know her good old aunt flo has not visited this day?  just curious

I have a close friend who has partaken and says it's worth the price of admission.  Based on his feedback she is on my bucket list.  Never a good excuse for negligence but it might be worth another try.

Just another layer to deal with... and not trust. Ive never had a good experience with a lady who has an assistant. It's like dealing with an agency if you don't talk directly to the lady. At least with an agency, they have a rep to maintain, and you have an idea if u can trust them or not. Obviously the Indy has a rep to maintain, the assistant has nothing at stake. Just a completely random person with nothing to lose by screwing up or screwing you (not the fun way).

If a lady has an assistant, I simply won't see her. And I've also noticed that a large number of the ladies who enlist an assistant are the ones who are super flakey and can't get their act together. Thus the need for an assistant. Why would you want to get involved with that?

Consider yourself lucky that you dodged a bullet.

I applaud you for telling us who jerked you around. Wish more clients had the balls to do what you did.

I get it.  You did everything right as far as I can see.  And yes, it seems she "forgot" to let her know.  But the assistant admitted that to you.  I think making some sort of discount or concession would have been nice but it doesn't change the fact that you were left off the schedule or that she admitted it was her issue.

In regards to Aunt Flo:  NO.  While some women are so regular they can plan a year in advance.  Many, most, are not.   Additionally, stress, change in environment, change in diet, change in medication, change in Birth Control, travel and numerous other issues can all attribute to throwing even the most reliable cycle off schedule.

She could have told you anything after telling you she forgot.  There's many more reasons that could have been spouted other than Aunt Flo's visit that could have made it easier on her but it seems she may have been simply being honest.

Providers and assistant's make mistakes.  Damn human's that we are.  You have every right to feel slighted or whatever it is you want to feel because you weren't treated as well as you should have been.  But to come to the boards claiming your being lied to seems like a missed mark at the least and an over reaction at the worst.

Just a few months ago I started using an assistant while on tours.  I have been in the business 7yrs and have in no way ever been flakey or inconsistant.  That's not to say I haven't had bad days but I am where I say I'll be and do what I say I'll do.  I needed the help and found one that I can trust and that's a quality assistant with an impeccable reputation.  Did I mention I needed the help?  LOL  I was burning out on the phones but still loving the session work.  It's not that easy denying service to someone and having them call you a C*nt or a B%&tch and then open the door to a good guy and provide untainted service.  I needed a break from the phones.  Additionally,  I was tired of missing calls while in session, working out, in the shower, eating lunch...  It's important to take advantage of all opportunities in these tougher times.  

Just like providers, there are good an bad assistant's. My assistant is a former provider now retired.  Her reputation is HUGELY important as I am not the only provider she works for and she doesn't work FULL time for me.  If it were to come to light that an assistant is any kind of flakey or taking corners on screening or acting like a pseudo agency - she doesn't get the work she wants/needs.

I understand how you pick and choose, or weed out, potential providers to see is a very personal and subjective process.  But I really can't see that simply having an assistant automatically makes it a bad situation.  Sometimes it's a really nice benefit to get the attention you want at the times you want it

but it doesn't work for me. The assistant doesn't have their rep on the line. The lady does, the agency does, the assistant is in the shadows. What it comes down to is that I should trust an assistant because the lady does. That may not be a big deal for a lot of guys, which is fine. To each their own, but I'd rather not get involved with a mysterious 3rd party.

What works for one doesn't necessarily work for all. If it helps you and your guys are cool with it. Rock on.

Why would such a beautiful young lady put so much ink on her gorgeous body ?

I know it's her body and she can do what she wants. But it's a complete turn off for me.  I'm sure it's my loss, but I just don't get it. There are so many lovely providers that I would see if they didn't have the tats. Again, it's just me....but I don't think I'm the only one that feels that way.

trust me all these agency and indies have major issues they are dealing with. Im sure when a girl has their monthly visitor they are scrambling figure out  how they are going to handle the possible appointments that they have already booked.  
I would take it at face value. her flo came and the needed to cancel appointments already scheduled. It Sucks that maybe it wasnt handled the best way but I know how it is when you have someone in mind that when you wanted to see and it doesn't happen i have taken it personal but I don't think it was personal...

Would you rather her see u an have their visitor  be there with you.. That is one crazy threesome if that is the case LOL  For me aunt flo can stay at home with the kids.

actually the assistant DOES have her rep on the line.  Unfortunately, there isn't much else she can use to get work OTHER than her reputation.  It may not be something that you, as a hobbiest, would be looking at or needing any knowledge of, but I don't know of a reputable, decent provider who would just hire a random assistant.  She may be in the shadow of the provider, but over here on the other side of the coin, to a provider seeking a reliable assistant, her reputation will be very much known.
