The varying asking prices of providers has been debated a few times on this board over the past couple of weeks and we've come to the simple conclusion: an indy or agency has the right to charge whatever they please for their services. This is understood.
However, I came across a lovely lady on Eros tonight who charges $350 for an incall but $450 for an outcall. Personally, I'm a man who prefers the outcall. It's more convenient for me, there's no risk of walking into an LE trap and there's just something erotic about having a beautiful show up at your door.
I get that there is often an added cost to the outcall. Paying for gas and/or the driver is generally necessary. But from what I've seen, the average price difference is somewhere between $25-50. But I can't figure out what justifies a $100 fee. Now, I'm not the type to really fret over an extra 50 bucks. If I want her, I'll pay it without thinking twice. But I'm just curious what goes into this decision. Is there an extra expense that I'm not considering?
I had similar, perhaps more dramatic swing. I tried agency for first time, their rates for in 300 for one and 500 for two and 900 for four. Yet outcall is straight linear 400 per hour. Plus the screener is difficult to contact and rather rude if questioned. So many people had referred me to this agency and I had met this particular lady in advance and found her intriguing so I scheduled.
I probably will never use this agency in future, there are so many other options, you do not need to tie into any single group. You will never find the logic, just move on to either another agency or try the indies. It is not worth the cycles to ask the question.
In my instance, they do not value my patronage, others will. Just move on.
Time, my dear, time! Time is the most precious and valuable asset that is completely irreplaceable! The extra is for the time waste that you are spending (i.e:wasting) on the road. Time is money ![]()
I understand that time is valuable. I respectfully disagree, however, that time spent traveling to a place where money will be made is "wasted". I'm a frequent business traveler (that's how I got started in this hobby) and I can assure you that I never feel like the trip is wasted. If it's helping put money in my pockets, it's anything but a waste.
But let's go with the time aspect for conversation sake. If you're going to factor in the time spent into your outcall price, shouldn't you figure out how far you're going to travel first instead of posting a flat rate? If a provider is located in, say, Dunwoody and I'm staying in Dunwoody, shouldn't her relatively short distance to travel be a factor? Obviously, if you're based out of Covington and I request an outcall to Kennesaw, that should cost more. And to tie in my original question, why charge a flat $100 fee to travel to see a guy when, in theory, he could be staying two blocks from you? I'm not implying that ladies should have meters like taxi cabs to give a price, but it's just interesting to me how the prices are set. Anywho ...
joejiggy, I am guessing you are not sincere as this sounds like all word play to a 2 year old to me. Look, if you are getting tens of thousands of dollars or hundreds of thousands of dollars (or some more) from a business deal, of course you will not mind spending days even weeks to make that deal happen. And of course thatr is definitely NOT a waste. We are talking about something different here. Say you are an adult entertainer, you are visiting a city and already paid for your airfare, back and fourth, your hotel and taxis, etc..You need to make at least as much as your initial cost plus the extra for your rent, mortgage, utilities, food, healthcare, clothes, perfumes, make-up, etc etc etc..You can't possibly be all over a strange city in the traffic for one hour bookings here and there, you don't even know the roads, plus you are going to strange men's houses or hotels where you don't even know what is waiting you or even if they will be there. Hence the extra charge for the outcall.
If you are in your home town your policy might be the opposite. You charge extra for the incall. As outcall doesn't cost you much but for incall you are getting a room form a hotel etc..
It all depends on one's circumstances. Preferences.
It is a free market. If you don't like it, there is plenty of other ladies in town. Isn't there?
somebody is in it just for the money, doesn't it ?
You can read the post about priotities above and figure it out as well.....a multi-hour gets top priority over a regular that just wants an hour is the way I read it.
At least she admits it, I wonder how many ladies do this just because they love sex and how many do it just because they love money and there is nothing else they could do to make this kind of a living.
Just wondering.
Good luck with disclosure on that one lol. At the end of the day many view it as a job. As such I would suspect that they are no different than the average population of workers. Some really enjoy there jobs but I suspect the majority view it as a way to earn a living. Doesn't mean they aren't pleasant individuals and don't provide good service, as one can be good at what they do but not necessarily love what they do.

and I thought I was convincing my audience that I was doing this because I was in love with you, who, he, or, me, or no the other, ah oh, you mean jack, joe, david, paul no wait michael..he, she, me, who??
) Pleeeaase guys!!!
) Let's just be honest.
Yes, of course each and every one of successful providers are the ones that are able to give you the illusion that you are special. That they are REALLY REALLY into you. But don't forget this illusion will survive only as long as you pay. Try those you think are into this for the love of f'ing not paying one time. See what happens. Well because YES, THIS IS A BUSINESS! HELLO!
Of course I have my favorites, some I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to see, (some not so much), that is beside the point but I have a life and I have a business and they both need to be taken care of.
I am not a 20 year old who lives in lalaland, I know what happens to those who don't treat this as a business. Age 50, no more clients to see, no more income from anywhere. Will you be there for me then? I don't think so ![]()
I've said before that it's a fantasy for the men and a business for the ladies.....I just don't think you have to be so blatantly honest about it. I would hope you'd be a little better business person than that.
Just my opinion.
I"m under no illusion that some 20 something hard body is going to bang me, if I wasn't paying for her.
I stopped doing outcalls for the most part. On my website, I blatantly say, 'No outcalls'.
When I do outcalls, I inevitably get lost. (I call my Tom-Tom a "John-John"). In big metro areas like Boston and Atlanta, one must factor in costs there and back, extra risk to the Provider, and now a new setup fee!
When I prep my incall hotel, I lay towels, electric candles, music players, condoms, lube, etc out... I know where everything is. When I go on outcalls, I have to pack ALL OF THAT up and start again!
I'm so anxious on most outcalls that I can't cum. I always fear I'm being photographed or videotaped... Thus I am less adventurous.
I think $100/outcall isn't enough!
I agree... I rarely do outcalls, in fact I think I can count on one hand the times I have...in 10 years in this profession. I doesnt feel as safe as my home turf.
It's perfectly understandable why any provider would elect not to do outcalls. Th reasons are much the same as why I prefer to avoid incalls. As many times as I've done incalls in the past, I still get a little nervous as I walk in. I never truly know what's waiting behind that door, even if I've seen that girl multiple times.
Maybe the conclusion to be drawn is that a woman who charges $100 more to come see you isn't really all that comfortable with outcalls in the first place. And personally, if she's not comfortable, I'm probably not going to be comfortable.

I liked the way you summed all that up! I agree!

Whether I pay rent on an incall, use hotel rooms, or drive to my client, the overhead is all pretty much the same. As long as I can get there in about 45 minutes or less, the time/distance isn't an issue.

I'm in Southern Cali right now and i'm finding the Cali girls charge 100. more for incall to cover the cost of hotel.
I can understand $25 to cover cost of gas, but if it is $100, I see it as an intentional disincentive.
There may be ladies like the one above who simply are trying to discourage it because they don't like outcalls. The math of it is, if a lady is popping for her own incall apt, call it $1,500/month overhead, she's going to need to recoup her investment of capital by using the place. If she's driving all over town, it cuts into time she could be having appts at the incall she's paying for. Now, if a lady has already bought a hotel room for $500 for 2 or 3 days, same deal. But, if a lady has no incall, no hotel room pre-paid, an outcall might make sense. Rather than buying a room for that one visit that will cut into her margin, $20 worth of gas might be a better investment.
Tenn. being one example.
I think there are two likely reasons when the difference is substantial: they want to discourage outcalls, and/or they are higher-volume providers. With an incall, you can crank 'em in and out pretty fast, LOL.
