I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Back to School Special.  We donated approximately $350-$400 in school supplies to underprivileged children in the Atlanta area.  It's great when we can pull together as a community to support a cause that's so important to future of our society.  

In recent weeks, I have seen this community also pull together to support two of our own.  It's been wonderful to see my friend Monica overwhelmed with words of encouragement, care, and compassion.  What she went through is something that we all have to face whether we like it or not.  However, it's not all of us that are willing to take a stance and voice our opinions publicly for the world to see.  I applaud her for being courageous.
