TER format

In the end it really doesn't matter what the users of the web site like, the people who run it have made their decision based on their own preferences and we just have to accept it. Why they can't see that the new format is more difficult to use and far less aggractive is difficult to understand.

Is it just me....or has TER format changed completely ?
Is there a way to back to the old format......I'm an old dog and it's hard to teach us new tricks ?

I was just very comfortable with the old way of doing things .

about the new format.

It simultaneously keeps old, irrelevant topics on the first page while making it harder to scan the newer, more relevant ones.

Also, one has to click a few more times than before to read any thread's responses and reply in turn.

Like any new thing, I'm open to giving it a try, but I doubt I will ever like this new format.

EDIT: There is one positive. You can actually edit posts via the "edit" button now.

I'm not sure if I like this or not. I sometimes go on one of my favorite musicians message board, and theirs is similiar to this. You can go back to a thread that's in the archives 2 years back, and if you post a new reply in it, the thread will go to the very top of the first page. But I don't think I like it on this board, it'll take some getting used to.

I think were stuck with this. I kinda like the old board better myself. Have to click here to see the subject and replies. A little clunkie.

I don't like this format. It is too hard to follow easily.

I just wish they added a line between ladies in the review section or different color background between reviews (similar to Discussion Board).

Can't figure it out.  Looks like you have to click on every post - that can't be right.

Anyone figure this out?

Yes, that is exactly what I was wondering as well...hopefully someone can give us some insight.

Allow VIP members access to the old format. Make basic members use the new format.

TER will be raking in new VIP members by the busload.

Of course, I won't be one of them, as I have my principles to abide by.

and they go ahead and force it on us anyway.  Why? My guess is  they now have to justify the expense of creating the new format, so screw the loyal customers who pay the bills.  I for one will not be re-up to VIP anytime soon.

I am in agreement.  This is difficult to use and to follow threads.  Like Brad45 said, "If it's not busted don't fix it."

I am with the majority, I hate it!

1) I don't need all these colors in different format.
2) I'd like less space between posting lines and a little larger text..and CHANGE THE FONT!
3) I don't like the little picture icons--I don't need them.
4) WTF is up with all that white space on the right side of the screen?  It causes the entire page to appear left-centered, throwing off the page.  Put the twitter, etc stuff on the LEFT side of the screen.
5) You'd think that when the home page comes up, being in a country where reading is done from left to right, you'd want the "Accept" to be your left button, not right button.
6)  The "back to forum" button really should be more to the left, not to the right.
7)  Not enjoying all the extra mouse clicks.

That's a good starting list regarding formatting that I don't like.
